We booked a suite that had 2 bedrooms with a king and 2 Queen beds as well as a pull out couch. The description said that it would accommodate 8 people. We arrived after the checking time of 3, around 3:30, woman at desk says they are still cleaning room, not ready. I explained we had tickets for a show and were on a tight timeline. At 4:00 I was summoned to the desk for her to tell me that the room I booked did not exist. I had all the paperwork including the room description. She told me we would have to book another room to accommodate our group and we would be paying for it. The room I already booked was over. She said I would have to
Pay for an extra room. My husband asked her to call the manager, she would not. I had noticed another hotel right next to this one and we were out of time. They booked us 2 adjoining rooms for less, everything included, made up our keys and did paperwork quickly so we could put our stuff in our rooms and go. I went back to the first hotel and asked for a refund and the same receptionist told me that she could not cancel the reservation, I would have to do it myself. NEVER AGAIN. VERY POOR TREATMENT OF “guests”.
