1-acre backyard with a fire pit next to a small creek. Basketball court, deck, and patio with lots of room to hang out, grill, and watch the setting sun.

Basement bar with foosball, darts, and poker table for evening entertainment.

1 mile from the soccer/baseball/softball complex. 2 miles from the basketball/volleyball facilities.

Multiple families are welcome. Pets with approval.

The Good and the not as good

Our stay was a mixed bag. The listing mostly matched the home except the bed count and bed sizes. The site has each room listed with 2 beds: Except for the bunk bed room, there was only 1 bed in each room. The King bed and Twin bunk beds were accurate and comfortable. It should be noted the 2 rooms listed as having 2 Queen beds had just 1 bed and it is a Full size bed, not queen. The "murphy beds in the office" did not exist at all. For a Group of 10 this made a significant impact on our sleeping accommodations. Some of the pillows/ mattress /covers were stained and/ or torn and could definitely use replaced to help build confidence in their cleanliness too. The kitchen and baths were overall clean with plenty of towels and essentials. In fact, it is a lived in home that is rented out on occasion so most kitchen / bathroom items remained there during our stay. The deck was enjoyable and the backyard provided great outdoor space. The hot water heater kept up with our numbers nicely. The location was great with easy access to several areas with the Des Moines Metro area.
