I booked and paid for a room for my fiancé and his little girl, but when they got there the front desk person wouldn’t let them check in. I put the room in my fiancé’s name, but they demanded my id and credit card. They wouldn’t even let me verify it over the phone. My fiancé and his daughter had to turn around and drive almost 4 hours home in the middle of the night. And now the hotel is refusing to reimburse me. It’s such a scam.

Therebwere notbenought towels in our room. Bathroom light was burnt out. And there was not breakfast one of the days we were there. Breakfast was to be 6 to 9am. All there was was coffee. No elevator s either for the senior I was with. He was in Des Moines for surgery.

Wasnt bad. When we got into our room there was no ftidge or microwave which shocked us. Went down and asked since we were staying for 2 days we for sure wanted those. The front desk guy did get us a different room. But he also was like did you make a mess in the first room. Told him no we were literally in there less than 5 minutes. He goes im going to check. Which I thought was rude but fine go ahead. Got in new room only 2 towels there were 4 of us staying but i was like ok whatever. Next morning go down for breakfast there isn't any. No one at front desk. So called finally a lady came out asked she said oh no breskfast not many guests. Which does make sense but would have been nice to know day before. Then asked her for more towels. She was very nice. Otherwise it was an alright stay.

Location is dated, old. Everything worked as designed. A few amenities are cut back/ not offered. Acceptable for the reduction in room cost. Room is comfortable and clean. Stay was on Sunday night, minimal guests.

Front desk guy on day shift is rude. Comforters have stains and holes and they will keep the damaged comforters and still keep your deposit for things that were already damaged
