Excellent staff-very outgoing. Beautiful facilities and a perfect location.

This is one of the nicest hotels that I have stayed in recently. It is very clean and quiet and near

Great clean updated hotel, the breakfast was fresh and the best that we have had of the free breakfasts on our trip.

Traffic noise from the freeway very loud. Sounded like the window was open, but could not see that it was. Bathroom floor needed scrubbing. Found a spider on the wall, and a bug in the bathroom. Air conditioning was on, but the room was humid.

This was just an overnight stay so it was okay for the one night. However, I probably would not stay again.

The accommodations were very good and exactly what is expected.

Check in was smooth and the stay perfect. The room was very clean and looked like a much more expensive hotel. The TV was great and bathroom very nice.

The walls were kind of thin, and the continental breakfast was sparse. Other than that the hotel was great, the beds were very comfortable.

Stayed 1 night after a day at the fair. No complaints.

Stayed at this location for work, and really enjoyed my time. Very clean. Staff was wonderful as well. Would recommend anyone to stay for business or pleasure.

Checked in early. Handicap room. Shower was definitely different. There wasn't a dam thing in the entry of the shower so when I took a shower, there was water all over the floor. Checking in person was rather impersonal but I was grateful that I was allowed to check in early.

A major reason I choose a hotel is based on Swimming Pool for Kids and a Hot Tub for us parents. As of 5/31/2014 their Hot Tub was out of order and it looked like it had been that way for a while. They gave us the option of using the hotel next door's pool with hot tub. Although it was an option, it does not mean it was a good option. My wife vetoed leaving our hotel so it only left with us the swimming pool which was fine for the kids. But nothing to relax in after a long day at Adventureland was just a bummer. I told the staff my disappointment in the hot tub, but all they offered was an apology. Continental breakfast was fine. It was a pretty standard breakfast, but at least they offer it. I avoid hotels who do not offer breakfast with the room. Room was otherwise comfortable and price affordable. But no hot tub ruined the stay.

Staff was very friendly and had good advice for a dinner choice. Our room was very comfortable and decorated well. Breakfast was set up nicely and was well maintained. There were several family groups staying there the night we stopped but they were not bothersome at all. We have been very pleased with all our stays at Fairfields. They give good value for dollars spent.

The hotel seemed to be exactly what I was expecting. The room was clean enough and the bed was comfortable. I wanted a hotel with breakfast, indoor swimming and wifi, the hotel had all of those features and all three were functioning quite well.

The pool area and hot tub were a perfect temperature. The location is good with easy access to I-80 and I-35.

I stayed here with my husband and 2 boys ages 6 & 4. We were traveling through Iowa on our way back home and used it to filter nearby hotels that were close by the highway and offered breakfast. We were very happy here. I want to give special kudos to the front desk clerk Zack who was more receptive than anyone I've ever met while traveling - and I travel A LOT! He even waived at us as we pulled up to the hotel; talk about welcoming! We arrived at dinner time so were grateful for the map he gave us and the recommendation of the nearby bar/grill that was kid friendly. Check-in was easy and we had no trouble finding our room on the 2nd floor. We found both the elevators and stairs were a convenient way to get up and down. The hotel is attractive, and you see the breakfast area which is really pretty and comfortable from the front desk, as well as a nice seating area. We were very impressed when we walked into our room. It was very spacious and included 2 queens (another reason I chose this above other hotels which were cheaper, doubles are so cramped). In the summer heat we appreciated the a/c. Later we got our suits on to go enjoy the pool, which was another big selling point for us. The boys were cramped driving in the car all day and were so ready to go have some fun. The pool is modest, 5 ft deep at the deepest end, and there is a hot tub which is quite big. I think there was a whole girls volleyball team in the hot tub with me and my sons at one point! The temp was like a bathtub though, so not a big win for me, but the little guys were happy with both the pool and hot tub temps. We didn't need them but I was impressed to see they had facilities if someone needed to be lowered into the pool. My main complaint aside from it being no frills was that it was over chlorinated. I couldn't stay in the hot tub because it hurt my eyes so much I had tears running down my face. It did fit the bill though and the boys were so excited they could have plenty of time to swim even though it was late. They kept it unlocked until 10p, and the front desk clerk allowed those who were already there to remain another hour longer even after the door access was locked. After swimming it was bed time. I was very happy with the comfort and size of the beds, and there was a variety of pillows which I was happy about. I like very soft squishy pillows and I found one I liked. I was surprised by the state of the sheets however - there were a TON of holes along the edges of them. I am really surprised they would continue to use them. However, they seemed very clean and were comfortable. I woke up in the night because the air conditioner seemed to go into some sort of hibernation mode and the room was no longer as cool as I would like. I assume this is some sort of energy savings thing, but I wasn't happy to be awake because of something like a/c which I think should be on at whatever level I put it at for the duration of sleep. A little thing, but a good night's rest is important when you know you have a long day ahead of you. The full breakfast they offer was great. I was impressed by the cleanliness of the room, they were very on top of it - even after the High School age girls vollyball team didn't clean up as I would expect someone to after eating. The coffee was hot, and good. They had plenty of choices. Overall, for what I needed from my stay I was happy. I would recommend this to other people looking for a convenient place to stay right off the highway.

overall it was disapointing at best. No cups in room except the stirafoam coffee cups. Front desk said they do not offer plastic cups. Pretty tacky. I have stayed at some lower rated hotels that at least gave you plastic cups. The Guest book listed items on menu for CBF on was Jimmie Dean Breakfast Sandwich. No where to be seen. Asked for an extra blanket, 2 hrs later when called back all out. More but no room won't go back or rec. to others

The room was comfortable and a good value for the price.
