Flights Review

Mar 16, 2020

Since we flew Frontier, we paid extra for carryon. Seats were not as comfortable as past experiences with Delta, but staff were very nice, flights were smooth, and we had no difficulty.

Wait times at immigration were very long.

Was suppiosed to have a wheelchair available @ Des Moines arrival & no one was at the gate when I arrived...another passenger helped me get to an elevator to get to baggage claim. Disappointing.

Jan 3, 2020

My husband recently had knee surgery and is not fully recovered so it is very painful for him to walk and he is quite slow. I called ahead for a wheelchair, which we needed especially for a somewhat tight connection in Houston. I appreciated that we were switched to a seat on the plane closer to the front of the plane with extra leg room. This made it much easier for him. But we had trouble connecting with the wheel chair assistance. When we initially got to the Austin airport the clerk at the check-in gate said she would call the wheel chair. We waited about 15 minutes and then just decided to walk because we felt we should get to the gate. It takes my husband a long time to get through security because of his new knee implant and walking is still painful and he is slow. But it wasn't too far so we made it ok. Then when we got to Houston, instead of a wheel chair we were told there was a cart at the top of the jet way. There was a cart parked but no driver in sight. Luckily, another cart drove by that had some room and the driver happened to be going in our direction and allowed us to ride with him. I did appreciate the efforts to provide assistance and especially the seat near the front of the plane, but felt the wheel chair connections and timing could have been better. Thank you.

Seats are not comfortable

Dec 30, 2019

The lines at Denver International Airport were unbelievably long for check in and security. I almost missed my flight. This created extreme anxiety and was unnecessary.

Dec 28, 2019

When we landed in Des Moines, we sat , waiting ,at least 20 minutes for someone to bring the ramp to the plane!! They would not answer the phone, the pilot said!!! This is very poor service. And the baggage was another half hour wait for anyone with a checked bag. At 11:30 pm, we were all ready to get home, not wait an hour ,sitting in Des Moines airport!!! Please correct this problem!!!
