Location was good and the reception desk and cafe staff were very, VERY good! However, there were several problems with room: (1) had to ask for more towels, washcloths. (2) water pressure for shower was VERY weak. (3) lighting over bathroom sink was terrible -- couldn't see well to put in or take out contacts, do make-up. (4) had to request new pillows -- smelled like they were rotten. (5) had to ask for enough towels/wash clothes 3 times over the stay. (6) hot tub would have been nice. I'm not sure I'd stay at a Courtyard again.
Close to major shopping area and great Bistro in hotel. Staff very friendly and accommodating! Two lights in room had burned-out bulbs and some of the furniture needed repair. Only real complaint was that hallway noise was excessive after 10pm where I was located.
Great hotel. My only complaint is that the room smelled weird. Almost musty like a basement. Other than that everything was great.

The hotel seemed nice and the staff who checked me in was polite and welcoming. My family was tired after a long day of traveling and headed straight for the pool. After returning from swimming and eating we discovered that the pull out bed still had dirty sheets and blankets on it (crumbs and hair on the sheets and blankets and the bed wasn't made so obviously not clean). Too tired to call down we found clean sheets and remade it. After inspection we found that around the bed skirts there was lots of trash and crumbs, a fridge that didn't have all the components, one trash can, and no microwave. That seems odd for a suites and inn and I've never experienced that before. There were holes in the hallway walls, wine glasses and beer pints in the pool area, and no towels in the pool area. Upon checking out I informed the front desk staff of the room issues and ahe responded quite nicely with "oh, but you found the clean sheets right?". That was it, not an apology for the dirty room, which had Cheetos around the bed on the floor and other trash bits, and nothing to indicate the rooms or service or anything would be fixed. I was also charged $30 more than the price stated and overall I am disappointed with this hotel and experience.
Great Stay! We’re senior citizens and bathtub was extremely user friendly getting into and out of. Also, beds were not extremely high for getting on and down from.
With so many things going on in Des Moines the weekend we visited, it was hard to find a hotel that was reasonably priced and had decent reviews. We finally found the Courtyard Jordan Creek, and were pleased with our stay. Even though we did not spend a lot of time in the room (we went to a concert and had a late night), the hotel and our room was modern, clean, quiet, and reasonably appointed. We wish that there would have been a few more amenities as it relates to breakfast offerings at the hotel, but this is very minor.
I enjoyed staying here two nights. Very nice rooms and staff. Look forward to staying there again

My husband and I were in town for a date night. Our first impression of the hotel came when we checked in. The gentleman that checked us in was very friendly and made us feel so welcome. On our way out to eat, he told us to have a great time as we walked out. Our only complaint would be the 8:00 am knock on our door from housekeeping. I guess next time we will need to use our do not disturb sign. All around, it was a relaxing, clean and friendly place to stay.
Great hotel! Nicest I've ever stayed in! West DeMoines is beautiful! Room was really clean and classy! Lobby and outdoor patio was beautiful!
My girls and I rented a room here for my sister's bachelorette party and we were pretty impressed. The beds were comfortable, the room was VERY clean, the decorations were super cute. The only negative thing was that the room didn't have a microwave!
