I’m really not sure why this hotel was so highly rated. We did not get the treatment or experience those travelers did. The hotel shows its age with clearly worn out carpeting in the stairwells and stains on the floor in the room. The WiFi password didn’t work and the staff didn’t know what the right password was. There was no milk at breakfast. Not somewhere I’d tell people to go to for sure

There was no hot water. Dirty, small toilet, key cards do not work, one staff member, charged for a roll away that the springs can be seen through the sheets, no house keeping until day 3, one staff member, ceiling was leaking, elevator did not work because of a bullet. Pool does not work. Refused our money back. I have pictures.

Booked 3 rooms for my adult kids and Husband and I to enjoy a Christmas getaway (this quality time is our "gift" to them since they are all grown and dont need a gift). We packed our swimming suits and snacks and we were looking forward to hanging at the pool with our 5 year old grandson in the poolside rooms. Upon arrival and too late to cancel there was a sign at desk stating pool was closed, I could have bawled (and I am not a whiny lady but we were so looking forward to this and wouldnt have stayed had I known. Also huge leak in lobby with flood, broken elevator, deferred maintenance throughout. This was a very neat motel that has been run down. Casino ATM out of money, sports bar had sign on door that they were not playing NFL games for the weekend,out of milk for cereal at breakfast, one door didnt lock, key card issues, broken claw machines, (trying to entertain grandson with no pool). The maid staff was friendly and one of the desk clerks was trying his best. This was a christmas to remember, but not in the way we had planned.

- room was cold (it’s December) and would not warm up no matter how high I put room thermostat -09:30 wake up - ie. Vacuuming right outside the rook while i was still sleeping. - good location and I would stay again if the room temperature issues can be sorted out

So had a dog which I emailed them. They never responded get to heritage they informed me that I would not get the nice room which I paid for I get the stinky pet room in which I still paid premium rates. The lobby flooded while there the pool was down and unusable. And all those special little fees ended up adding up to over 200.00 for a less than appealing room. My dog doesn't pee on the floor so why should he have to sleep on a dirty floor that obviously was covered in piss.

I have stayed there several times because my 6 year old granddaughter loves the pool with the trees! I had this room booked for several weeks and when I checked in, there was a sign on the desk stating the pool was closed until January 5th for an event. This was not an unforeseen circumstance and yet I never received any communications about this. I even pay extra for a poolside room. And the pool was completely empty the entire time we were there! No apologies from the front desk staff. After my granddaughter and I carried all 6 of our bags in and got settled in, I went to brush my teeth, and the sink in the bathroom just had holes in the counter where the faucet should be. I had to pack us back up and move rooms. Again, no apologies from staff. Not sure I will stay there again.
