This is a very well maintained historic hotel that has been updated with all the modern amenities that you will need. Never mind the free fresh baked cookies and popcorn. Also pet friendly. Staff was friendly, knowledgeable and accessible. Be aware though, the Steak House within the hotel is actually an asian restaurant. HMMM!

I stayed here for a week on a work trip. This place is centrally located, has free parking, nice rooms, a nice breakfast in the am, and is a great price. I stayed for 4 nights and it averaged less than $120 a night with taxes. Will stay again.

Nondescript on the outside, this historic hotel is absolutely lovely, reminiscent of a bed and breakfast. Its downtown location is convenient to restaurants with a wine bar across the street, and it is an easy drive to attractions. Definitely not a chain hotel: this one has charm, personality, homemade breakfast foods, cookies, and popcorn. Website photos are 100% accurate. Rooms are small, but sufficient, clean and attractive with window A/C, showers, flat screen TVs, and the BEST staff on this planet. While we are there, had a health emergency, and every single staff member went out of the way to help us. Well beyond the call of duty. I would actually consider living here!! As a bonus, there is a hotel dog, Buddy, whom our granddaughter loved!

We pass through Kalispell each year on vacation and always stay at the Kalispell Grand. This year we brought our daughter and granddaughters for a short break and like us they really loved it. Comfy rooms, fabulous staff, a buffet breakfast and parking, all at a sensible price make this the hotel of choice when in town.

We had driven past the hotel twice...finally decided to check it out. We were tired of the chains, but we had a dog, a big white dog. The Grand Hotel in downtown Kalispell welcomed all of us. We were very pleased with our gracious host and the beautiful lobby. Chocolate chip cookies and fresh popcorn gratis! Nice touch. We ordered at the Asian restaurant and took it up to our lovely room. The hotel was quiet, clean, boutique style, and well stay there again! The rates were very reasonable too!

The rooms were comfortable, a little on the small side, but beds super comfy, staff was very accommodating, am coffee, tea, etc. Cute gift shop with local artisans in the hotel. Our room had a window ac unit but kept us cool as the evening temps were in the 50's. We were able to get Uber drivers to help us get to places not in walking distance.

We stayed one night on the way to Glacier National Park. The girl at the front desk was very nice and helpful with restaurant suggestions and area info. The hotel is charming, bed comfortable and the location is perfect for exploring the cute downtown area of Kalispell. The continental breakfast was a nice start to the day.

My husband and I stayed here two nights while visiting Glacier National Park. We really enjoyed the expanded continental breakfast, one of the best we’ve had ever. Front desk staff was very informative and friendly. Great location, right downtown with restaurants Close by. The room was very nice, too.

We spent 2 nights at this historic hotel in downtown Kalispell. The service was very attentive. We found the hotel charming. The room was small, but well equipped and comfortable. We enjoyed the central location in downtown. We enjoyed the small, but well done continental breakfast. The fresh home baked chocolate chip cookies put out every afternoon were the best I ever remember being served at a hotel. The peanut butter cookies weren’t bad either. The two nice brewery pubs down the street a bit were an added bonus.

Stayed in a family suite which included essentially 2 rooms - 1 with a king and bathroom and a suite with 2 full beds. Great room, very clean and centrally located. Cookies and popcorn in the evening, continental breakfast with homeade sweet breads and quiche in the morning. Staff was very friendly. Would return in a heartbeat!
