Lovely place, nice decor in room, friendly staff and great service. We saw the same staff as last time. Which was nice. Great location and quiet. Glad we came back The free breakfast is fantastic and way better than some of the Choice Hotels we have been in.
The room was clean. The beds were comfortable. Nice flat screen tv. The hotel also has a nice hot breakfast that we were not expecting. There were also cookies at the counter at check in. Close to restaurants.
Went with the family school shopping. Hotel staff was great. Very friendly and helpful. Rooms were clean and beds were very soft. To soft for some. Breakfast was great lots of options from waffles, cereal, bagels to eggs and sausages. Pool was decent a bit to warm on hot days where it would have been nice to cool off.
The employees at the front desk were friendly however, this hotel was disappointing. The room was dated and dismal. The bathtub was dingy and patched (I decided to wait until the next hotel to take a shower). The WIFI was working one minute and not the next. I would have been ok except I was horrified when I realised I had paid $150.54 CAD for the room. It was one of the most expensive nights on our 17 day trip across the US! One bright light was the Wheat Montana Bakery next door.
We've stayed at comfort inns all over the country. The breakfast here is good and the front desk people are courteous. It's quiet and fairly centrally located (although great Falls isn't that big so it's not really an issue) That being said...This is one comfort inn i won't stay at again and cannot recommend. It needs a major renovation. My thoughts on this hotel: -I chose this hotel because of the heated pool. I didn't use the pool because it didn't feel very heated, if it was heated at all. -The bed was too soft and feels like it was worn out. -The bathtub looks like it was dirty or had been sandblasted. -Parking at the hotel is poor- and poorly lit. Most of it is in a torn up parking lot. I didn't see any security or any security cameras monitoring the parking. -The deadbolt lock didn't work in the door. I always make it a point to lock it at night...I couldn't do that here. -The phone was unplugged the 2 days we were here. Who knows if we missed any calls -The bathroom layout is very tight and has only one sink. -The toilet seat is loose. -The carpet is stained in the elevator. It's one of the 1st impressions guests have and at the very least that carpet should be replaced. Really the whole hotel should be re-carpeted and remodeled. -I really miss the comfort inn cookies at the front desk too.
The hotels is very dated, the bathroom in our room while clean needed a new tub or shower stall. We booked a king suite which was said to have a dividing wall between the bed and sitting area. There was only a stub wall so no separation, we would not have paid the extra if we had know this. We tried the breakfast the first morning but it was not very good so went else where the second morning.
We just needed a clean room for the night and found it here. There were delicious homemade cookies out when we checked in - much appreciated! The breakfast in the morning was very good. The only negative was that we thought we had booked Comfort Inn and Suites Market by the airport, which is a better rated hotel. Otherwise this worked out well.
Inexpensive hotel with nice warm pool, decent comp bfast, free wifi and clean rooms! We stayed one night on our road trip home and will stay again next time we head south! Helpful lady at checkin as well.
The staff is terrific. Our suite was wonderful. Very roomy with extra chairs for friends to share a drink with you. We will definitely come back here. The pool was very warm and sunny. We were welcomed with a big smile.
I stay with choice hotels alot. In fact two or three of the last four nights were at Choice, all got 5 stars. Unfortunately i cant give this place the same. In fact this was the most expensive of all of them. Let me start by saying Kathleen greeted us as soon as we came in the door, and let us know she was in the process of finishing someone else. She was courteous, friendly, professional and efficient. We had been on the road for four days, this is final destination and just wanted to wash off the road. Id also like to clarify that the broken down desk chair and screw holes in the top of the dresser, do not affect my reviews. Went straight to room, turned on shower and noticed some brownish yellow "stains" in tub. When i got in, the stains had been washed away easily by the shower. Disappointing but...finished shower and noticed hair and yellowish brown spots behind the toilet, hair on side of tub, hair in floor in front of toilet, hair and dirt accumulation in corners, black pepper like speckles around the garbage can, toothpaste spittle all over the faucet, finally there were crumbs on the coffee table and the carpet in front of the couch. I checked the bed, the sheets (and bath linens) appeared to have at least been changed. It was THE LEAST the housekeeper could do apparently. Honestly it was disgusting and i know hotels try to say in their reaponses "you should have let us know so we could make this right and get a good review" but if the room had been missed, an honest mistake thats one thing but a well manage hotel double checks these kinds of things and this kind of "doing the least i can do to get paid" type things dont happen. Went down to do laundry and Kathleen commented i had changed clothes (great attention to detail, someone like her should be managing the houskeeping staff?) she also asked how the room was (nice follow up) and i hesitated and then said "you know the room is really dirty". She offered to move me but honestly i had already unknowingly showered in this dirty room AND just needed the bed for the rest of the night. Kathleen apologized, and seemed genuinely sorry. Kathleen also knew the area and suggested a local place to eat which turned out to be very satisfying. If the hotel could hire a few more Kathleens they'd be in tip top shape. I hope she is recognized for her efforts and the housekeeper is schooled on adequate procedures for removing evidence of the previous residents. Cant recommend, wont return, thanks to Kathleen they didnt get one star.
