Very nice hotel, but dirty towels were left in bathroom behind door from previous guest

As of mid 2017 the facility seems brand new. Every interaction with staff was friendly and helpful. Room was clean, spacious, and comfortable. Pool seemed like it must be saltwater which is a nice change from chlorine. Breakfast had a very good variety and there was an abundance of seating though it was a very heavy holiday weekend and the staff was sorely taxed trying to keep things cleaned and stocked. It wasn't for lack of effort but they needed a little patience. The exit seems quite new, businesses are moving in but it is still a little sparse. Only 1 exit to everything anyone could need in the way of dining and shopping.

I only stayed one night, passing thru the area on a personal trip. Pretty rural here, honestly wasn't expecting much. But I found the hotel to be of newer construction and my stay was quiet, comfortable and needs nothing I can think of. Highly recommended.

One night stay. Everything was excellent. Breakfast was exceptional.

Good king suite room with a large tv, refrig and coffee maker. Spacious shower and comfy bed (just with the pillows were normal size and not squares. Wish they had a hot tub too! Nice restaurant, bar area and espresso! Love that coffee. Tips: clean mirrors better above sink and on cabinet doors!

Rooms were clean and spacious. Staff frandly and plasant. Recamending this hotel to every one.

I really enjoyed this hotel - it had wonderful amenities and it was very comfortable with excellent staff!

I have stayed here on business a couple of time on business. The hotel provides a good breakfast and I appreciate the expresso coffee service throughout the day and evening. Sometimes there are a vast number of sports teams there so it does get busy but this is probably the time of year I have been there. Overall great place!

Hyatt Place was a well-located, super clean hotel with a great staff and excellent accommodations. I was especially impressed with the no-hassle wi-fi access and free breakfast options. Great stay!

We stayed one night after a wedding near Lake Michigan. The bed was very comfy, the plug panel convenient for all our electronics and the high-def TV was crisp beyond belief. However, after our relaxing night, we were disappointed with the quality (or lack thereof) of the breakfast: frozen fruit, stale doughnut, they ran out of decaf coffee -- just not much to recommend it. The lobby does have a Market Cafe where, for a fee, everything looked a lot better. If they upgraded the free breakfast a bit, this hotel would get a better rating from me.. .

Hotel was very clean. Hotel staff was excellent!! I was skeptical about the location (there were no other buildings within a few hundred yards). We will be staying here agai.

Layout of the room is great, comfortable bed and very nice lcd tv in the room. Staff was very good with great breakfast.

Overall, good. Pool was not heated....no vending machines, which would have been fine, if they had something other than small cupcakes and cheese cake mini slices for 3 dollars.

I have experience with Hyatt Place before, and it usually exceeds my expectations. This was no different. Sophisticated enough decor. Always very clean. Continental breakfast is serviceable. I recommend it.

It's a very clean and neat property. For my own personal usage while I'm in Grand Rapids the location is absolutely perfect. It's in close proximity to plenty of stores. shops and eateries to fulfill any vacationer or business person's immediately needs. The breakfast is not great but very doable,

We were spending a few days in the Grand Rapids area and this Hyatt had a larger than standard Kimg Size room. The whole room included a full size sectional, desk, mini fridge with a table top walk in shower/toilet room, single vanity and closet. Staff was fine , food for breakfast was a little above average but the staff could barely keep up with cleaning tables, reenishing food and checking out guests. Overall it's a definite yes to staying there again plus look for for Hyatt anywhere we travel.

Nice, very clean room and the staff was very pleasant. Nice breakfast provided too.

We stay at this hotel a couple times a year. It always serves our needs and is a great option for getting to some of the suburbs South of Grand Rapids, where I grew up.

I stayed here for one night and, overall, it was a great experience. We found one old ear plug on the floor so I wasn't sure the room was totally clean but, otherwise, everything was great!

excellent as always. The water pressure is terrible. Wish they had microwave ovens.
