The food at the buffet breakfast, that you paid for was cold. The floors in my room were stained. the heat lamp in my bathroom did not work. The restaurant food was below average and the selection on the menu very limited. Overall, this place did not look like the pictures and was not as upscale as I had expected. The place is old and needs a remodel.

We really enjoyed our stay at the Holiday Inn Resort The Squire. The amenities were great, free laundry, arcade, outdoor games by the pool. Our room was clean and the staff were very helpful. We will definitely choose The Squire when we visit the Grand Canyon again.

Beautiful property. Well located near the Grand Canyon. More cost effective than staying in the village. Has everything! Pool, gym, dining and ample parking. Staff absolutely wonderful and welcoming! They had a scavenger hunt for the kids and snores! Fire pits in the moonlight and twinkle lighting. Clean public spaces and art throughout. The gift shop was even well curated and we look forward to coming back soon!

This property was sold to me as a 4 1/2 star property. We arrived at the property at 7 PM. It took half an hour to check us in with only about six guests in front of us. We ate at the restaurant and from the time we ordered it took an hour to get food. The food arrived as though it has been sitting under a heater for quite a long time. It was not a complicated order. It was two burgers, spaghetti, and chicken fingers. The waitress was nice, but they seemed very understaffed. Our room had hair wads in all of the corners of the bathroom corners and something left over in the sink that looked a lot like snot. Maybe this would be a two star hotel but it is definitely not a 4 1/2 star hotel. Very disappointing.
