It was a wonderful experience. Super close by to the bright angel trail head. It was also next to the entrance of hermit rest road. You could walk around. We went in winter so parking was a breeze. The rooms were cozy, cute, and spacious. One downside was the TVs are old and it's not that you'd be watching a ton of TV while spending time in nature but just wanted to point that out. Nonetheless, I'd spend time here again! The staff was also very friendly and check in was a breeze.

The room we were in had 2 VERY stained upholstered chairs (light gray in color originally) and numerous VERY filthy marks on the curtains (almost looked like motor oil). These two details lessened our review greatly; otherwise, all was well.

Located right by the rim of Grand Canyon, near shuttle stops. We stayed in January, a bit brisk outside best part, the room was warm, separate heater for bathroom, hot shower, clean spacious for for two people in a queen. Location, location. One star off for breakfast, the food is good but their coffee was awful, I mean airplane awful. Nut you can find a decent cup of coffee at other places in the park.

I didn't realize the Powell Lodge did not have TV's or place to set up for a computer. Plugs in's were limited and one lamp for the entire room. Shower is small. Very average and basic.
