The convenience to the park and shuttles was great. The room could have been cleaner, especially the floor and bathroom needs a counter and more updates. The beds were comfortable.
Lack of ice machines in our location
Great place inside the park
A quiet, cozy place in the middle of the forest. Enjoyed my stay a lot. Recommending Yavapai Lodge for every type of traveller (including kids and pets).
Outstanding
This is an old hotel in the Grand Canyon National Park. It is convenient for the park visit. It is clean and eco friendly.
Very clean and nice. Would like a microwave in the rooms.
The staff was so nice and we were very comfortable in our clean rooms. Watching the elk wander around the property eating and lying about was a treat! The food at the dining hall and tavern was sub par but the beer was good!
The beds were comfortable. It was quiet. The cleaning staff knocked on the door at 8 a.m. when we were trying to sleep in and had the do not disturb sign. Other than that the check in staff was very helpful and the dining options were adequate.
Everything was wonderful.
We had a fantastic stay at Yavapai Lodge for our hike in Grand Canyon! Excellent experience in a super clean, comfortable and conveniently located motel with a mid century vibe. Will definitely be back next year! Thank you!!
It is on the national park!
People brought their dogs and left them alone in the rooms! Dogs barked at 3:30 in the morning! Then the dogs got out of the rooms and terrorized the whole area! After numerous calls to the front desk by several occupants the owners were reached! Unfortunately nothing was done to the owners of the dogs! They should have been fined for unleashed dogs or asked to leave the property!
The setting is unmatched anywhere. The rooms are a nice 15-20 minute walk from the canyon rim and main visitors center. It kinda feels like being at Summer camp. The only downside is that the rooms are quite aways from from dining/cocktail lounge.
The rooms are nice and updated and the bed was soft. The only thing I would change would be the Kerig coffee machine. They need to install new ones because ours didn't heat up the hot water so we had cold coffee. They should also use real mugs because the small cups have to be switch him out because they only hold about half of a traditional cup of coffee. Otherwise great stay.
Surprisingly comfortable, functional, and attractive. Perfect location.
Nice stay. The room was clean, good sized and in a great location with parking right outside our door. We stayed in Yavapai West, which are older rooms with a little camp like feel due to the crank out window in the bathroom. I would stay here again.
Very nice for a the type of hotel. Clean and quiet. Freindly staff. Not luxury but nice and comfortable.

Thank you for your feedback. We will check on Ice Machines. We are not aware of any that are not working.
