Super Clean!! We will be staying here again and bringing the whole family next time!

Everything was just ok, unfortunately Yavapai Lodge did not inform me that the room we had reserved was not going to be available until we arrived, even though I had called multiple times to ask if they were going to be open. I paid in advance, but the room they gave was a less expensive room and they didn't want to give us a refund for the difference.. We will not return..

Great location and very friendly and accommodating staff.

Hotel is in a great location! Rooms are adorable and very clean. Bathrooms can use to updated badly but hey since this is the most affordable hotel in the park, I'll take it!

The room was nice but the bathroom floor was not clean! The shower before we use it, I check if it was clean and had hair in a couple of spot. I always bring stuff to clean and even more now with the covid, so before we showered, I clean the shower too. Everything else was ok! You don’t see the canyon from the lodge, just take your car and park it in 3 min from the lodge and you will find a really awesome view!

Great Relaxing place! About a 15 minute walk to the rim of the Grand Canyon. We were there during COVID so all of the restaurants were closed.

There was a problem accessing one of our two room reservations upon arrival. The front desk staff were friendly and helpful. They were able to get us two adjoining rooms and later cancelled the third booking when the original reservation was found. We stayed for only one night before a backpacking trip and needed two rooms and close together to help us with packing our gear. What could have been a very stressful situation was handled wonderfully by the staff. Dining options were convenient and fairly priced with good options for both carnivores and vegetarians.

Location can't be beat The rooms are motel 6 quality

Everything was gorgeous! Nice rooms. Recently renovated. Store has so much more than you would expect.

Pretty great location for walking out to the rim or getting on the shuttles. It should be noted that the wifi in the hotel lobby area is the only wifi and it doesn't work too well. Not that its a huge issue cause you should be looking at the canyon and not surfing the web.

Location: A mile from the NPS Visitor Center & Mather Point, very near the Store & Dining Hall. Rooms are clustered maybe a 1/2 mile from the lodge. Our room was refurbished, new beds, carpet, TV, bath & blackout shades. No known relationship between the thermostat and the room temp floated between 80F & 50F. Not terribly convenient for using the Train but great for driving. Easy parking at the rooms & the lodge for dining, shopping & the Park Blue Line that connects to the 4 free Park Bus routes go everywhere in the park. Don't like the narrow wall counter in our room but it saves space and provides a good spot for 'stuff', keys & charging. The dining hall was the most disappointing part of our entire trip. Prices at the dining hall and general store are higher but overall were pretty reasonable. We ate 1 or 2 meals every day all week at the dining hall and every single meal we experienced a substantial dysfunction. Example: Menu; Tomato Soup. We bought Soup, Toasted Cheese and Salad. No Tomato Soup, Salad bar was extremely disappointing and Toasted Cheese was lost, not available till we were finished eating (after asking about it twice). Every single day, even with 2 large coffee urns, there wasn't coffee readily available. Our last day, no coffee available till we were completely finished with breakfast & the eating area was a mess with most tables loaded with dirty dishes. Never saw any sign of management running anything or checking on customers. Very Very Disappointing.

We loved the simplicity of Yavapai Lodge! The only downside was that we couldn’t stay longer due to our own travel constraints.

Property was nice. The staff at the restaurant wasn’t the most helpful. The food was okay and overpriced.

Great location, spacious, courteous and friendly. Very clean and serene and so beautiful.
