We loved staying inside the park! We had debated staying outside the park at a hotel with more amenities for our kids, but being able to walk out of our room and to a shuttle or to a hike, and then being able to get right back to our room when we finished was perfect for our family with young kids. The room was clean and spacious and was close to everything. So glad we stayed here.

Amenities were awful, service was pretty bad and to top it off they tried to double charge me on the room that I’ve already prepaid. Front desk people were rude and incompetent. Instead of fixing the problem they were antagonistic and uncaring. I recommend zero for this place. Stay away!!!

Right in the park staff and our room was great ! Had a very nice stay and we were able to enjoy the park . Loved the linen so soft and nice. Beds were comfortable along with the pillows. Would recommend using the lodge for your visit.

I was a little hesitant booking this and initially only booked it due to its convenience. The bldg. structues are old with the old motel vibe, however when we opened the door to the room we were very pleasantly surprised. Clean and updated. The bathrooms I dont beleive are updated other than flooring, paint and mirror, but it was still clean and functional. I would definitely book here again if we visit the Grand Canyon again.

It was wonderful to stay within the park. It was great to watch the sunrise over the canyon without a long drive added to the early morning. Rooms were very clean. Plenty of dining options in walking distance. Shuttles were very convenient. We stayed in Yavapai West at the end of Sept 2025
