Friendly staff. Took a good long while for the room to heat up.

Rooms were larger and more accommodating than expected

Location, location! Very close and convenient to Grand Canyon, much better amenities than any GC lodge for less money, restaurant on site, excellent spa tub, nice atrium with live trees insides.

Everything was easy

Nice place , cold room.

Nice size rooms with living area.

If you have a pet, do not stay here. You pay a $50 pet fee only to be told you have to take your pet behind the property to the woods. We spent an hour pulling burrs, stickers and sticks out of our dogs feet.

👍

Nice location if you’re trying to see the Grand Canyon

We booked this hotel based off of the reviews and it was disgusting. The lobby area is very presentable but the room was horrible. The beds were hard and the mattress cover had hair and other bodily stuff and what looked like bugs on them. The door did not shut all the way and we left for dinner not knowing that and came back to the door standing wide open. The air co nditioner stuck of cigarettes. I told the front staff people at check out and they told me to complain to Orbitz.

Property was very dated and the dining experience was marginal at best. The staff was friendly and helpful.

The location is close to the South Rim but the hotel is old and has that smell you just can't get used to it. The front desk staff wasn't nice and it just doesn't feel clean at all.

The staff was very polite!. Nothing was disliked

Our hotel room did not have working air conditioning. The solution from the staff was to open the window, which had a very worn out screen. This did not feel exactly safe as we were traveling with small children who climbed onto the chair adjacent to the window when they heard the train pass by. We are loyal Holiday Inn Express travelers and this was NOT what we have some to expect.

I was surprised to find that our room was in a building far from the main entrance and much older than what the pictures on the website presented. If you're looking for luxury, this hotel is not going to be that place. However, if you're looking for old, southwest charm, this is the hotel for you. The king sized bed was the best sleep we had on our trip, especially after walking around the Grand Canyon, which is a short car drive away. The room was quiet and comfortable. The hotel bar had the best service and food in Tusayan and there was a cute gift shop off the lobby. We'll definitely go back!

Greetings Kyle, thank you for taking time to leave a review for your recent stay with us. We all work hard to provide the best service and products possible, and we really are happy to know you enjoyed your stay. Our hotel is family owned and we do everything possible to have our quests feel they are part of the family. The location really makes it easy to the canyon! And yes, we love doggies! We Look forward to seeing you the next time you visit the Canyon. Happy Trails, Rich

Greetings Tracy, Thank you for taking time to leave a review from your recent stay with us. We were disappointed to learn we did not meet your expectations. Usually our Doggie friends enjoy walking behind the hotel. As you know there are paths to walk on and areas with lovely Ponderosa Pine Trees. We wish you well with your future travels.
