We had an excellent stay and Maswik Lodge (Juniper). We definitely recommend staying there. It was a 5 minute walk to the canyon rim (Bright Angel). Most of the historic village buildings are nearby, including great dining options. They have an excellent cafeteria for breakfast, lunch and dinner. The room was big and comfortable, and had a private patio in the back with table and chairs. A cot was quickly provided for an extra guest we had. The staff was friendly and helpful. There was ample parking. I would certainly stay again if I return to the area!

The Maswik Lodge has a shuttle bus stop right in front of the main building. The food court restaurants were convenient and offered many choices at very reasonable prices. The room was clean and spacious. Staff were very helpful and friendly. Check in and checkout are seamless! Highly recommend the stay at the park.

Maswik Lodge had a number of lodges away from the main area with the cafeteria dining that made it seem like you were away from the bustle of everyday activities. It gave the impression of being out in nature, yet close to what you needed. The shuttle was convenient to the main lodge. Teh staff was helpful and courteous, especially the woman handling and scheduling excursions, she was wonderful!!
