They raise their rates as the room inventory decreases, but will not reduce the rate when the hotel is empty. Monday $120 Tuesday because they were full $160 Wednesday the hotel was 1/2 full and they refused to adjust
I love the brand. Always. The location of this hotel was perfect for my needs. The experience is consistent over and over again for me as a frequent traveler. Staff was very friendly and the hotel was great.
I was in Buford Ga for a week long meeting. Some hotels were booked full. I stayed at this Hampton inn. There are many eateries and Mall of Ga. right across the street. Location is great. Hotel is a little dated and could be updated. However it is not an issue. The hotel has breakfast daily and cookies at night. The room is suitable and the bed is comfortable.
Pulled in after a long drive heading North. Receptionist friendly. Room clean and very quiet. Breakfast was ok; variety or yogurt, oatmeal, pre-made omelettes, sausage, muffins, toast. Did not use workout room, but walked by and it looked nice. Nice stay.
The hubby and I decided to have a weekend away from the kiddos for our anniversary. We wanted to do some kid free shopping at Mall of Georgia and also do some touristy stuff downtown Atlanta. We decided to stay here rather than downtown because of the much cheaper cost. It was super clean, staff was friendly, loved the location - close to 85 and directly across from the mall. Breakfast was pretty good.
Spent a couple of nights here and it was in a nice location across from the Mall of Georgia and walking distance to many restaurants. Problem is it is dated and the rooms and HVAC need upgrades. The HVAC system made it hot in the lobby area while cold in the rooms. The front desk was aware or the problem but made no comment as to any upgrades coming. The rooms are at least 20 years old but the bed was comfortable. Staff was very helpful and friendly
This Hampton Inn has been our Go To place on trips between the Gulf Coast and the D.C. area for 15 years. Seldom ever had a really bad experience. This Hampton is not the Waldorf Astoria. If you want that sort of luxury, look elsewhere. This was, and is, a good solid representation of the Hampton Inn brand. The good things about our recent stay..... Terrific location. Safe place in a safe area. Comfortable bed. Clean room. Clean bedding. Nice and adequate breakfast. Quiet. Nice staff. Yes, there were a couple of negatives... (1) The weather was damp and cool. We needed heat, but all we got was cooling. Thermostat on the wall was all screwed up. Before you jump to conclusions - I am trained, and have experience in, HVAC systems. The darn thing was badly messed up and I will stand behind that assessment. (2) After showering I reached for the vertical grab bar to steady myself in stepping from the bathtub, and the bottom part of the bar came off the ceramic wall! The top attachment was also loose. What if I had been elderly and depended on the grab bar for stability and had fallen? Can you spell LAWSUIT? So, their maintenance is slipping. The manager needs to follow the housekeeping folks around now and then and inspect things like thermostats and grab bars Still, I recommend staying at this Hampton Inn.
Good location for me to spend time with my family and utilize a few of my points. Good clean rooms and let’s not forget the bacon. Very close to the mall Georgia easy walking distance to a few restaurants
My husband and I stayed at the Hampton Inn - Mall of Georgia during Christmas 2017 when we were visiting family. I stayed there again in late January 2018. I cannot say enough good things about the staff. Every single person I came in contact with was friendly and helpful. Any question I asked or service I requested was answered with a smile and an immediate response. Housekeeping did a great job, the breakfast every morning was tasty and the counter was kept clean. The front desk was very welcoming every time I walked in the door. It is one thing to say you have good and friendly customer service but to have people actually do it is another thing altogether. Thanks for a great stay. This will always be my choice when I visit the Atlanta area.
From check-in to check-out, the staff was the best part of the stay. Friendly and welcoming. They each made me feel welcomed to be staying at Hampton Inn. Other than a minor issue with towels, the stay was great.
