Low value bordering on a rip off!! 250$ for a Jacuzzi room with no bath robes. No bath sheets. No bath salts. There is no step out so it's a team effort getting out without slipping. There is a gap in the silicone all the way around the tub so black mold is inevitable if not already existing. Poor room layout. LOW VALUE HIGH COST. Front desk staff should get a cut. At least they are courteous, professional & attentive.
Forget the retro 80’s decor and this hotel is very clean and staff very nice and helpful.Odd entry through the adjacent Pomeroy hotel parking lot!Good location close to downtown.Pool very cold and hot tub only luke warm.
We found it hard to get into the correct parking lot the first time. The breakfast was fine, seemed like a lot choose from. The regular scrambled egg and sausages for the hot entree. The room was fine, nothing special. Clean...2 beds... we had trouble getting heat the first night. We figured it out finally so that was fine. The staff was friendly. I asked to get the sink draining and it was fixed. Not sure how the cleaning staff didn’t notice if they cleaned the sink. Very quiet!
Stayed here with my 2 dogs. The staff was genuinely kind & courteous. There was a mix-up in the reservation (my fault), but both young ladies behind the desk were more than accommodating and fixed the problem without hesitation. Rooms were very modern and the facilities were top-notch. The restaurant next door was very good and the motel's complimentary breakfast was good too. Try their chocolate chip cookies!
The room was really big, really clean and really comfortable. Breakfast was very generous- hot food, tons of choices and a pleasant breakfast room. The staff were super friendly and helpful. The only very minor thing was the hotel is slightly out of town but you would drive everywhere anyway.
Front desk staff at any other hotel I have been too have always adjusted the room price when a service they had advertised wasn't being given, whether it was there fault or not! REALLY unhappy with the check in process at Stonebridge Dawson Creek. When I was told Shaw had internet/cable issues, the front desk wasn't even willing to adjust their room rate when I was there on a business trip! First hotel I've been too, that has never made an adjustment when services advertised were not able to be delivered! Put a REALLY sour taste in my mouth when the response was "If I did it for you, I'd have to do it for everyone!" I told her I wasn't asking for everyone and everyone else wasn't my concern! I was the only one standing there checking in at 11pm at night and honestly just wanted to put my head on a pillow! NOT how you treat customers!!! For a $240 room, I expect full services that are advertised and pleasant staff at the front desk to greet with a smile! Otherwise pro-rate my room for the services you can provide!! Rest of hotel was nice. Room was decent. Breakfast had lots of choices and was great tasting, but honestly didn't do much to help me get past how I was treated after a full day of driving and business mtgs. Had much better customer service in Hudson Hope the night before for half the price!!
Check in went well, no issues. The clerk requested a $500 hold charge that was placed against our charge card but not submitted. No other hotel we stayed at requested such a hold, so when asked why, the clerk said, it was just a hold charge and could not offer a reasonable explanation as to why. Accessing the hotel was different, you had to go past another hotel enter their parking lot and then travel across to the Stonebridge, again, odd. The room was clean and was well appointed. The morning hot breakfast was great, included with the price of the room. We had no problem with checkout and when I asked that the $500 hold charge be cancelled, the response I got was again no charge will be placed against our card. Waiting to see if I get charged for something we didn't do. Other then that, our stay was pleasant. Lots of crews stay at the hotel.
This was a nice stay with clean rooms, comfortable beds and a great buffet breakfast. I think the rooms were on the expensive side but the rooms were nice and they were at near 100 % booked as I got one of the last rooms available.
New-ish hotel but kind of cookie-cutter style. The room was very large (~350 SF). The shower was great with good water flow and the bed was comfortable. Breakfast was excellent with eggs, ham, and cinnamon toast. The hot tub was out of order. It was kind of difficult to get into. You enter on a side street that goes by the loading dock of another hotel. It took us two attempts to locate the right parking lot. The onsite restaurant (Fixx's) was expensive and just OK.
Only thing going for this place is the excellent restrautant attached to it. Ssome Staff at front desk and manager are pretty lack and seem not to care if you are inconvenienced. Rooms okay but small for price. Bathroom is quite small. When room refreshed no toilet paper added with not much left.
