We needed a pet friendly place to spend the night that was clean and fairly quiet. Although some of the public areas were well worn the room was clean and adequate for our needs.

Looked in corner of room and saw shoe prints on wall and ceiling with a smashed bug also smoke detector hanging on wire out of ceiling not as clean as it should be but the front desk people were very friendly

The bed in the room was so bad that when I turned over I continued to roll and off the bed. The AC had issues and took forever for it to even cool the room down a little. Ugh! I was so upset and tired when I checked out. I had to wait for the gal at the front desk, of the Super8, to come to the lobby so I could check out and then I made my complaint. She just said that she would let someone know. Then she said that she would have to go over to the Travelodge to print my receipt. This was my first time staying here, and my last.

On our way to Idaho for the solar eclipse, we thought we'd easily get a room in Winnemucca without too much planning ahead - NOT - especially because we were traveling with our two big dogs. So we had to drive over to Elko, a much larger town, where we'd found a room at this Travelodge. Right off the freeway, it was easy to find and there were plenty of easy parking spaces. The ladies at the front desk were pretty busy, but they were so very nice and friendly. We got a room right at the top of the stairs, an easy spot for the dogs. The room was clean, the bed was comfortable, and we had everything we needed for a good night's sleep. Perhaps the place was a bit run-down, but who cares? I certainly don't. And, I can't imagine what a job it is to keep up a busy motel like this one - and I mean more than just cleaning. If you want perfection, go to a 5-Star exclusive hotel! I was comfortable here and I'd be happy to stay here again - especially when traveling with our dogs.

Found this Hotel to be a very nice place stayed two different times on a trip to Utah from Calif, Both stays were very nice! Would recommend and stay again .

Don't stay at this place! The park under a bench is much cleaner and the people will be more helpfull

An honest 2 1/2 stars - not horrid, not nice or great Pros - cheap, semi clean, wifi, Cons - run down, shows its age and wear and tear, breakfast offering were lacking fruit, yogurt cups - not appealing Obvious attempts (or not) to patch holes in walls, carpet in main hallway is a trip hazard, needs replacing or re-stretched, severe ring/stain in tub, curtains thread bear Front desk clerk was friendly, easy access to and from highway, basic room for a place to sleep before heading back on the road NO FRILLS

My room was clean and quiet. The bed was reasonably comfortable. The fridge and A/C worked just fine. It was very hot in Elko but the room was cool. The hotel could use a make over. The carpet in the halls was falling apart and is a bit of a tripping hazard.

We rolled into Elko about 12:30 am after a long day of driving and moving with the kids. When we got there, they told us the room number and we headed up to the room. The key didn't work. My husband took the key back down and they fixed it. So we tried to get in the room. The key worked but the latch was already on the door. So we went back down and the manager went to investigate. There were people in the room, though their system supposedly said no one was in there. So then they said there were no more rooms available, except a single room. (We are a family of six) I said that's fine, we will figure it out because we needed to go to bed. It was about 1:10 am at this point. So the lady is writing down the room number and says "oh I guess do have one more double room available on the 3rd room. Oh looks like this was your room all along; someone just wrote down the wrong things." So we went up to the room on the 3rd floor and again the key didn't work, so my husband went back down and they fixed it and we finally got in about 1:20 am. It was terrible!!!

for the price everything you need is here...not much selection on breakfast but what they had was fine...slept 14 hours straight, no distractions...
