This place needs to get their house in order. At about 2:30 on the day of check-in, I got a call saying check in was from 3:00-5:00 only, and we'd need to be there by 5 in order to get our room. Given we were driving in later from out of town, this was not going to be possible. After going back and forth with the receptionist, he agreed to stay until 7 to check us in, but seemed very put out by it. This put a damper on the trip from the get-go. At check-in, we were given basically no information about the resort or the surrounding area. When we told the manager about all this the next day, she was pretty horrified, and finally gave us the info we needed about the area (including that they have complimentary beach passes... I wish we knew that sooner, it would have saved us $50 and half an hour of driving). On the second day, we returned to our cottage to find that the maids had cleaned, but left the door unlocked. Luckily it seems like nothing was stolen, but it was a scary experience. Then we went to dinner at their restaurant, Si Si. After about 50 minutes at the table, our appetizer finally arrived... cocktail shrimp, which smelled terrible and were clearly spoiled. We told the waiter, paid for our drinks, and left. We would have mentioned all this at check-out, but the front desk was still empty at 8:30 (the manager had specifically told us that desk hour were 8AM-7PM). Overall, it's clear the people running EHP Resort have no idea what they are doing. AVOID!
