Four Points by Sheraton Newburgh Stewart Airport

Hotel clearly offers free transportation online , there is no free shuttle they will call you a cab at your expense ($38 round trip from / to airport cash only ) Food was dreadful - dinner ordered a tomato / mozzarella flatbread I think the chef smothered it with tomato paste rendering it inedible . Breakfast nothing is fresh ( except the apples ) , my toast was a slice of warm bread - couldn't believe they served that . Hotel room was nice and clean however if I have to pay to be picked up from the airport I would rather stay elsewhere . Several others were complaining in the lobby about the free transport which the desk clerk knew nothing about - I was told they will pick pilots up and pay their cab bill .

I stayed at the hotel in Newburgh, NY. This was a one night stop over before driving to another work meeting in the morning. I made my reservation 20 min before checking in (convenient). Lobby was beautiful, very inviting. The place was extremely clean and the staff was very friendly. Room are beautiful and the bed is incredible. You just sink right in. I highly recommend!

I'm an executive accustomed to hotel life. Desk staff was rude, no smile, no welcome, barely looked me in the eyes. A nice young man on staff noticed, and came over to try to help. It was a late check-in and the lot was empty. He said to her, we have a king suite with a jacuzzi available, you can put her in there. She completely ignored him, showing the same disrespect to him too. He tried, I give him credit. Now I'm upset, knowing I could have been upgraded but she chose not to. I get to the room, it's awful. The decor was like Salvation Army leftovers. Mismatched, old, ugly, uninviting. The room was dark, the only lighting was a small desk lamp, (the kind your kids use for homework), and two equally small wall lamps over the bed. So depressing. The bed is covered in a plastic sheet beneath the linen. Every movement sounded of crinkle. Awful!!! The TV was modem, a giant flat screen, very nice. Before settling into the room, I went back down to the desk to see if any renovated rooms were available. Without looking up at me, she said "they're all the same." The next morning, unable to locate a room phone, I called the hotel from my cell asking for a one hour late checkout. First she argued there was a phone in the room (there wasn't, maybe the last guest stole it?), whatever. Then she argued I couldn't have an hour extension. Two bright lights, the bartender/waitress was a delight and the young man at the desk clearly tried to make a difference. Miserable experience.

Disappointed that there was a shuttle to airport ( the reason I booked the hotel in the first place ) but there was no driver so I had to pay for cabs twice

We only spent one night there. If appeared that the staff were all knew and really needed more experience. We liked the lady bartender because she seemed to be the only one with experience. There was no toilet paper in the bathroom and no toilet paper holder. The dead bolt lock was about ready to fall off of the door. The room was very clean and the bed comfortable. The breakfast the next morning was expensive. Overall I would say most of the staff needed more experience and the rooms needed repairs completed before renting.

We've stopped there at least six times so far. They are trying to improve the site. They do their best to help whenver things go awry. It's convenient for us...so that is why we stop there.

Staff was great, and as my boyfriend is handicapped with crutches, they upgraded us so he didn't need to use the stairs.

Hotel is adequate. The cost is way too high, but seems in line with other hotels in the same area. Our door latch was inoperable and other guests were quite loud throughout the night. No frills room with outdated furnishings although it does appear that the bathrooms were recently updated. This hotel is fine for a quick overnight sleep, but I would never stay there for any length of time. Proximity to the airport is the ONLY reason one would stay there.

Exactly what I needed. Right off of the highway and clean. Breakfast was adequate, but satisfying. Staff very helpful too. Would stay there again.

Hotel is run-down, could use some renovation to first floor. We were put on second, which looked newer, but still dated. Bed was very good, however the location is right off the highway, and the tire symphony was hard to sleep with. Met the needs for just passing through.

We needed to be close to USMA and it was about 15 minutes away which was fairly convenient. The hotel was under construction, and the breakfast wasnt that great-even for a free one. but the staff was really friendly.

currently under renovation but hotel is very clean and quiet....check-in was quick and easy

Had problems locating it, but was in a nice part of town
