I loved the shutters on the windows, the coffee maker, the color scheme and the bathroom. The noise from people above me, and housekeeping in the morning was very loud. Also, I wish there would have been a desk for my laptop. But overall - it was excellent.

It is a relaxing destination in a very lovely village in the mountains of western North Carolina. A note for those who have problems with motion sickness or curvy roads: the roads into Highlands from either Franklin or Cashiers are very windy, and may cause difficulties fro certain travelers.
