Greeted right away. Check went smoothly. Staff helpful and informed me of the amenities. They tried to upgrade me without even asking for it. But there were only a couple of other nicer rooms than I had booked, and they were occupied. But I appreciated that they looked into it without me asking. Quiet and clean.

Staff was great, rooms very comfortable and clean. Breakfast was great but needed to refill quicker to keep up with the pace

Everything about this place is great with one huge exception (for me anyway) the bed and pillows arent great. The pillows are way to soft and the mattress was very hard. Resting was not nearly as easy as it should have been.

Great staff!!! Other than not having a hot tub, met our needs!!!

My best friend and I attend the RenFaire in Holly, Michigan every year and visit two outlet malls in the general area. Auburn Hills is a nice central location for us to stay. I'm pretty sure we have stayed in every hotel located on Opdyke road, and Hyatt is by far the best. Everyone was very nice and professional and I'm sure we'll be back!

We were originally placed in a handicap room but the staff was very kind and relocated us to an upgraded room as nothing else was available. The staff was very friendly and very helpful during our stay.

Interesting decor, very up-to-date and modern. Location is convenient but a car is needed.

Everything was nice and the staff was friendly. I would return.

I was in town for the Oprah tour weekend at the Palace. The hotel couldn't have been more comfortable and added the overall pleasure of the weekend.

The room was really clean, the person who checked me in was really nice ans actually remembered my name.

This conveniently located property in Rochester is very comfortable for extended stays. Much of the staff appears to be new. Service should improve as they grow more experienced.

In town just one night for a concert at DTE, this was perfect. Good location right by 75, friendly and helpful staff, nice design and room layout. We loved the shower and breakfast selection. Overall left a great impression of Hyatt Place. We would definitely recommend staying here and know we will next time we're up that way.

Staff were were very friendly and courteous, Breakfasts were very good. Room was spacious and bed was very comfortable. Location was perfect. Will stay there again I highly recomend this hotel.

The staff was great. The only missing item was a microwave in the room.

My experience was very enlighting....I will most definitely return and recommend.

The staff make this place a great stay! We stayed here for a family wedding and this place handled all 30 of us in such a warm welcoming way. Always willing to go the extra mile, felt as if they wanted to become part of our family! Breakfast is impressive and the rooms are very clean and comfortable.

We were pleasantly surprised by the comfort and amenities of this hotel. Rooms are spacious with nice furnishings (bed was too soft for me, but ymmv), free hot breakfast was tasty and fresh, and there was ample parking even though I think the hotel was pretty full. We didn't use the pool or exercise facilities, but saw many people using both and each looked well-maintained and clean.

We stayed here along with many others that were in town for our friends wedding. I've never stayed at a Hyatt Place before and was pleasantly surprised by how nice this hotel is. If this hotel was located in downtown Detroit I would happily pay $180-$200/night for it, but based on the location it is at the cost was half of that. The layout of the room is divided up by having half of the room available as a sitting area with a view of the TV, then on the other side of a narrow wall/divider is where the bed is located, again with a great view of the TV while almost feeling like a separate room. The amenities were top notch for the price, the shower was very nice, coffee machine, refrigerator, kitchenette sink, desk, too many to name. Not only did the room have a great feel with a comfortable bed and updated amenities, but the price was extremely reasonable. If I'm in the Pontiac/Auburn Hills area again for any reason and I need a place to stay I wouldn't hesitate for a moment to stay here again.

The room was nice and clean. The bed was very comfortable, my wife wanted to take it home. The bathroom was very tiny, you almost had to stand in the shower to close the bathroom door. Had to put up with the party in the hallway as the old lady which passed as security was ignored. The next night we listened to the screaming baby in the next room. The 'hot' breakfast, wasn't. It was almost warm. I suspect if the health department check a thermostat in it they might find it doesn't meet the food holding temp standard. I'm not saying it was dangerous to eat, but who likes cold eggs?

Heating-A/C units loud, sofas need cleaning. Staff very helpful.
