Most of the rooms are "motel" rooms. The first room we got was small, smelled bad, had dirty linens, dirty bathroom floor, and the lamp and phone were broken. Someone had also written in pen all over the headboard. We requested another room which was in the "hotel" part of the property. The room was bigger and, aside from the bed scarf (which appeared to have suffered multiple insults), the room and linens were clean.

Was very comfortable. I will recommend this to other family members.

Check-in is at 3pm. My group and I arrived around 3:30pm to find a long line waiting to check-in with some very disgruntled customers. Rooms were not ready and the manager simply said it takes time to get them ready since they were sold out the night prior. In my opinion, hotels should be equipped with enough staff to turn over a sold out hotel in time for check-in. Paying customers expect their rooms to be ready on time, and little was done to make up for this disappointment. Customer service by the manager was very poor, I was lucky enough to talk with a nice gentleman at the front who gave me and my group access to a king suite (we booked two queens) in the meantime to get ready for a wedding reception. He did this off the books and without manager approval which I truly appreciated. I will not stay here again, and highly suggest no one else do as well. Beyond the service issue, the beds were very uncomfortable and had many stains. The hotel was very hard to navigate and no directions were given to us.

Check in was slow, person may have been new, but thought that I had to pay even though I prepaid through Orbitz. Took several minutes for her to figure it out. She was pleasant, just not time efficient. Room was "clean" first day. In the morning when I went to make coffee - I had to cups, so could not have coffee in my room, and had to get one from the breakfast area to take with me to work. I requested that housekeeping please leave me cups that day. Cups were in my room when I returned that day. Room had not been vacuumed, and there was a sticky area on the stand between the beds, that had a like a damp kind of "glass ring" appearance. I had not had any beverages in my room so was not from me. Could have been there when I checked in or could have been left by housekeeping when my "cleaning" my room. Also, bed had not been remade, but the covers were pulled up under the pillows.

The bed and pillows were amazing, our jacuzzi was amazing! A few lamps didn't work and the outlets were all very loose, the tub of the shower clogged often but it wasn't anything to ruin our stay. Coffee all day was a major plus. The staff was alright. There was a minor problem w our arrival as we were placed in the wrong room but that was quickly resolved. No problem with late night check in and check out. Would 100% stay again. It felt "homey" which is hard to come by when staying so far away from home

Needs complete updating. Breakfast was horrible. Rooms were small and electrical outlets couldn't hold a plug in them

Checked out immediately did not stay the firstbight

Booked this hotel for my employee. She had to leave upon check-in due to the cleanliness of the hotel. Currently looking for a reimbursement.

We got lost coming back to the motel, called the front desk and Yolanda gave us perfect directions to get back! Thanks Yolanda, you're the best!

We had a great stay. The staff was very helpful and gave lots of great information!!! We did some shopping at Great Lakes Crossing and ate in a few of the different restaurants.

At checkin was informed that the tv didn't work-no problem it was late and I was going to bed. Never fixed the TV during my stay. Upon entry to room, I found an opened bottle of alcohol on the dresser. Was very late so went to bed. Next morning realized that there was also a pair of mens shoes in the room under the desk. Not Mine! After repeated calls, the items were not taken out of the room so I put them in the hall myself. I was traveling alone, and this was very unsettling. Would not stay there again.

Room Was Clean, But Outdated. Bed Was Old. We Were Rushed Out At 12:05. Good Location Though.

My girlfriend and I stayed here with another friend after a concert at the Palace. I had booked a room with 2 queen beds on this website, but upon arrival I was told that there were no rooms like that available and that we would be staying in a room with 2 double beds. I asked for a discount since they were downgrading our room, but they said they couldn't do that because I booked the room through this website. Really lame actually. Room was clean and standard. The hotel was about a 15 minute drive from the venue, but the traffic was HORRIBLE and took us over an hour to get there, even with the secret route from the guy at the front desk. Traffic was much better coming home. All in all, a very average motel. Hopefully you end up getting what you paid for; I did not.

I booked the hotel late on Thursday evening because of its location and price. The room was very nice and flat scree was a nice size

Rest room in my room # 146 was too cramped and it needs changes to make it more spacious.

this was more of a motel than a hotel, and should have been priced accordingly.

Clean and great staff. Driveway was hard to find but room was wonderful.

Staff were very friendly and welcoming! Nice warm breakfast included.

This hotel was good over all. We stayed here after the Sugarland concert at DTE Theatre and got a jacuzzi suite. The price was great thru another website. Just was not happy with the woman who checked us in who made humor out of my name, I was offended.
