The majority of travelers booking flights to Alaska will choose Ted Stevens Anchorage International Airport (ANC) as their entry point, with many passengers connecting to smaller airports from Anchorage. International airlines do service the airports of Fairbanks, Juneau, and Ketchikan as well. Low cost travel options usually favor ANC which then enables easy access to other parts of Alaska.
