Property was beautiful. Employees were wonderful. Heat and AC were the only negative. Room was at 72 when we arrived. Would have liked 68. Called front desk AC came on shortly after. Temperature went up thru the night and was 75 in the morning.
This is a resort that was great in the past and could be again. But not without major room renovations. We had to be shown 2 different rooms before I found one that did not have peeling wallpaper and/or stains on the wall. Public areas were much better. All the rooms need to be updated. But the area itself is beautifull. Loved the pool area and the spectacular views from top of tram. I definitely would go again but would not pay full price unless i get remodeled room.

Although our stay was enjoyable and the property views are spectacular there consistency in customer service is hoRRible!!! Very poor customer service no one knows the answers to questions, I got three different answers for everything , as a guest there is no priority for restaurants , or ski facility, or spa, if you didn’t make reservations way in advance you are out of luck, the buffet at FoRTE was horrible dirty, spilled and unkept, the sushi place was ok but it fits like 20 people tiny and when we finished eating the waiters put the chairs up, I was insulted!! All there staff is young and have no proper training , expirience, millennial, gen X crowds. Rude and no customer service. Even the front desk girls were inconsistent in there answers , it was bad. The property needs up keep a lot. We had an amazing ski trainer, and the views were to die for .
Overpriced - recommend a condo rental instead Safe didn’t work and Mai yen ended never came to fix Pool lockers don’t have locks No cups provided with coffee maker so unable to use

Alyeska was breathtaking! The grounds had fun and scenic hikes, the staff was friendly and remembered us, the spa was so relaxing, and i can go on about the wonderful experience my husband and I had. I’m already looking into taking a summer trip back to Alyeska with my family.

Excellent hotel , clean and fab service ! Location is just perfect and so peaceful. Will always stay at this resort whenever I m in Alaska. Great service and food including spa. I would give 5/5, love it !!!!

Beautiful hot tub overlooking the mountain. Beds were very comfortable and the room came with a fridge and robes. Excellent place

Overall, very disappointing for the price. Compared to other “resorts” that have similar price points, this place doesn’t come close. We checked in at 6:30 pm, to find out that our room was not ready, two and a half hours passed the normal check in time. We were told that they would call when the room was ready. No call. Went and had dinner, was then able to check in at 8 pm. No/extremely minimal dining options available during the week at the resort, and very few available in the immediate Girwood area. Granted the resort only has so much control over this because of staffing issues, but in turn, they should reflect this in either the price point or in the BS resort fees that they charge. Would not recommend, plenty of other, better lodging in the area. Will not stay again.

It seems we missed the mark - mostly on communication, which is an area we continue to train our employees. I am unsure as to the details, of your stay, however always please ask us to solve any items/situations that may not be up to our standards, as coffee pods and cups can be provided easily enough.
