I stayed just one night. At the time I was suffering from back pain. I asked reception if there was a trolley that I could use to move my two heavy bags to my new home that was in clear view from the front of the reception building. I did not think that this would be a major problem. Reception staff were very friendly and helpful, but said they would have to ask management. Management said no. I was traveling alone, so I had to carefully move one bag at a time. This still aggravated my back issue. Resort management is not even a little sympathetic to the well being of their guests.

We arrived at the hotel at night and went to see the aurora at about 10:30 PM. When we returned the hotel at about 3:00, we found this note beneath the door saying that they were going to do snow removal in the morning and asking everyone in the building to move their cars to the visitor center, which was located in another building. However, they did not provide places to plug the vehicles in, which is a must in Alaska for overnight parking. The staff was not very helpful on this and I had to move my car at 8:00 in the morning and went back to sleep. Also, the room service was merely half-way done and somehow the maid did not take the tips we left on the desk.

Nice place, like an apartment with kitchen, living room, bedroom

I was amazed at the size and spaciousness of the room. Two double beds in a separate bedroom, large living room, dining room, and separate bathroom. This is more like a 1 bedroom apartment than a hotel room. The only drawbacks were that there was no elevator, we had to climb 3 flights of stairs with our luggage, and the air conditioning is only in the bedroom, so the rest of the apartment could get quite stuffy and hot if it is warm outside. Overall, this was very nice and I will stay here again!

Enjoyed the Ice Art Championship, drove out to Chena Hot Springs for dip in the hot springs pool-Excellent Restaurant at Hot Springs. We stayed at the Wedgewood for 7 days late February - early March. It was all we could have asked for. It wanted for nothing except restaurant was closed in winter. Not a problem as there are others nearby. Highly recommend!

It was a great place. Great location with free airport shuttle. Restaurant was kind of expensive, but it had great food.

Dated rooms, However very clean. Best value for your money from the other 5 hotels I've stayed at here in Fairbanks. My wife loves it, I loved it and the hotel staff had an infant pack and play set up for us in the room when we arrived which was a blessing for our 4 month old. Overall very pleased and surprisingly great stay.

The room (apartment is large with kitchen and living room) was spacious and dated but seemed fairly clean. One of the bedrooms had a bunch of bedding stuffed under it which was weird since extra bedding was folded nicely and located in the closet. We decided not to pull it out deciding on the ignorance is bliss tactic. Front desk person was nice however shuttle guy was pretty grumpy. We (myself and a 2 & 4 year old) scheduled a 4:30 am pick up. I had all of our things by the door and ready at 4:25. When he arrived he was upset that I had car seats and complained that I should have noted (I did fill out a sheet that listed names and ages of people in the room) that I had these items so he could come sooner (which makes no sense because I picked a time that left us with 30 min to get to the airport which was 5 min away). He said he didnt know if his van had anchors and sighed and complained he had more people to pick up which ended with me scraping the car seats and just holding the kids (which I'm kicking myself for now because the safety of my kids way trumps some grumpy old guys time issues) Anyway when all the pick ups were done (us and another group) the time was 4:39. That's right 9 min, which probably five of were me loading in, another 1 to drive to other building and three to load the rest. On the bright side, when he dropped us I had prepared a speech to give the guy a piece of my mind along with a tip which I was going to specify was for him lifting my stuff only, and not for the pleasantness of his service. When he got the cash he suddenly turned into this sweet grandfatherly type talking to the kids walking us ALL the way inside the airport pushing my stroller?! It was weird.

My husband and I traveled for a weekend function to promote my company and knew we would be tired and ready to just relax at the end of each day. The full kitchen, large bathroom and more out of town location was perfect for us to come back to our room to make a healthy home cooked sit down meal and enjoy some down time after talking to customers and being on our feet all day.

Overnight trip. Was pleased with accommodations. Clean and comfortable rooms.

I did not know the actual setup of the rooms. I thought I was staying in a section that was like a hotel. Instead it was like an apartment building. On the first floor, the way the doors were situated, they were only inches apart. The landing was dirty. First appearance wasn't positive. I went into the room, a suite. It smelled. Though the rooms are supposed to be smoke free, it was easy to tell someone had smoked in the past. The air was very stale. With such a small entry and the doors extremely close together, I didn't feel 100 safe. I was traveling by myself. Given the location and the odors, I chose not to stay. The resort may be a good place to stay at other times with a group. The front desk staff was exceptionally nice!

Room was hot even with the temp down past 60 degrees.

One of the cleanest and largest rooms I have ever stayed in. Staff was very helpful from the shuttle drivers to the desk clerk. There restaurant was well kept and a good value.

This hotel was great. The staff picked me up from the airport and delivered me to the train station. The room was clean and the bar/restaurant area was high class with great service and great food. I have no complaints with this hotel.

The kitchen came in very handy, helping us to save money by cooking our own meals. Two rooms and a separate living/tv room worked well for traveling with family members and a friend.

Went up with the hs football team. Rooms were big, like an apartment. Everything was good, has everything we needed. Would stay again.

It was setup as a two bedroom apartment, so there was plenty of space for a family of 5. Great value for our money. It was well kept and very clean. Plus, the grounds were very nice and inviting. Glad we stayed here. Perfect for a relaxing trip.

We spent a week visiting our kids at UAF. The weather was great, we took in the Ice Sculptures which were amazing, visited the antique auto museum, which was very impressive, spent time at the Chena Hot Springs and of course did some serious snow boarding. A great time and a great place to stay! Very clean, very nice, very quiet with lots of room. Will definitely stay there again!

The staff was friendly but could have given better directions to our unit. Unit was larger and nicer than expected and we were very comfortable. Third floor unit without stairs would be difficult for older/disabled/injured guests. No elevator. Would definately stay again, good value for price and good location
