The heat in the room was intermittent, sometime OK, sometimes not so good.
The rooms are well appointed and spacious. The beds were comfortable. The staff were very accommodating. The breakfast was very nice. The only issue was that there was about a 4 inch drop off when driving from the parking lot to the street which was apparently due to snow buildup.

Located near a highway, where you can easily travel to other areas. Downtown is just a few minutes away.

Housekeeping came in and "cleaned" and did not replace our used coffee mugs that were in the room. The hotel itself was relatively nice but breakfast was sub par and the selection did not change. The front desk workers were very nice and always greeted us with smiles.
My room was clean. The place is located near downtown within easy walking distance. Also the bus lines are very convenient and free for people over 60. Free breakfast starts at 6am. The place is a little run down, but is being redone. Worth the price.
Very Alaskan themed, but very outdated. The hallways smelled of pot for most of my stay due to another (or more) smoking pot in their room. My last night there I had to call the front desk for noise complaints 4 times because the room above me was stomping around until 3 am.
Shuttle driver was very helpful and nice. I like the lobby. Room was clean.
Nice hotel, Quiet and had a super friendly staff. Rooms where clean, and no funky old hotel smell! Would stay there again.

I have mixed feelings about this hotel. Pros: Large room. We reserved a family room, which is great for our needs, with 2 separate sleeping areas and 2 bathrooms. Good value for Fairbanks. Cons: The facilities are really in need of an update, the room smelled quite bad on this stay, the breakfast leaves a lot to be desired, and could be improved with just minimal effort. Overall, this hotel is a good value for the size of the room, but it could use an update. Would likely stay again, but each experience seems to be slightly worse than the previous.

Thank you for the review, we do apologize for the conditions of the entry and exit during your stay, as it is out of our control when the city will come through and do the main road that causes this issue. We have staff attempt to knock this down when happens unfortunately we did not get completed during your stay.
