By far the worst hotel i have ever stayed, the staff was not friendly, very unprofessional. I could not bare the smell of the ceilings and the very dusty hvac system. Me and my wifes body felt veey itchy in the bed sheets. I tried to plug my phone to the wall to charge but as i tried removing the lamp that was plugged, the lamp male socket disintigrated and i saw sparks fly from the wires touching. I took some pictures of this badly worn out socket for the old lamp. I do not reccomend anyone staying here, would rather pay the $200 to stay at an elegant hotel.

Very convenient location. Easy walking distance from the mall, convention center, bars, restaurants. Rooms were clean and comfortable. Loved the free breakfast every morning!

Outstanding!! Not the best overall hotel if you based it on looks and presentation. The staff made the hotel. I’m very thankful I stayed there in the down town heart of Anchorage.

The breakfast was disappointing. Wanted $3 for toast.

Hotel room was not clean - hair on toilet seat and in bed

The hotel is very old and the walls very thin. It was difficult to sleep as it was very noisy.

there was a festival on the weekend we were there and the hotel was only a block away from it. v convenient.

The Aviator Hotel had a bad smell in the bedroom and hallways. No coat hangers in the closet. No screen on the window. Good internet but the TV didn't work. Free shuttle to the airport was a plus.

Bathroom fan was extremely noise. Room temperature controls were surrounded by dust bunnies. Entire building has a very stale odor. Free breakfast was nearly inedible. I called in for a wake-up call, they said "you are all set" but the wake-up call never happened. Housekeeping came to my room late in the day, once it was after 5:00 PM. The fridge in the room contained about 5 old coffee cups that were filled with old coffee showing that housekeeping was incompetent. Physical plant and management associated with this hotel is completely inadequate for Orbitz.

One wastebasket, no handtowels - questionable AC

The lobby was pretty nice, the staff was pretty nice, the room was kind of icky. Photos removed from walls, shower kind of gross, but the bed was nice. The kind of hotel I won't let my bare feet touch the carpet. There was no coffee maker in the room, no coffee in the lobby and no place to buy coffee in the building.

Steps up to room on ground floor. Had to drag suitcases up and down steps. Shuttle van not always available, even though I called ahead to make sure, no record of it. Eventually they did provide shuttle, but we felt like it was an imposition.

Drain did not work in bathtub. Luggage went missing from room while we were out for the day even though we had paid for two nights and put the do not disturb sign on the door handle. It took staff searching for about 15 minutes and calling managers on the phone to locate our luggage. Yep

Walking distance from the hotel to my meeting place, but the restraunt has a very poor service.

Between my room not being the correct one, the guy next to me was terribly sick as i could hear him hacking most of the night, and on the street side rooms, when the clubs let out, WHEW, better not be tired. Woke from a dead sleep to street races and drunk people yelling and screaming.

We apologize for the smell. We have a $250 fine if smoking in a room. The breakfast price of toast should be fixed. Thank you for the feedback.
