The hotel is great for its location near the train station. It was fortunately within walking distance of the train station (approximately one third mile across three or four sets of tracks). This is the only good thing I can share about our journey. I contacted the hotel twice to confirm that they had a shuttle to the train station at 8:30 AM, and could handle my folding wheelchair. This was when I first booked the hotel, and around a week out from our arrival. When we arrived around 11 PM, I reconfirmed the shuttle to the train station for the following morning at 8:30 AM. When we got to our room we discovered that the thermostat had been broken off the wall, with wires hanging out. The room was cold. We bundled up for the night. At 8:20 AM that next morning, when we went to the desk in the lobby, we were told that we needed to take the shuttle that had just arrived. We went to the shuttle and the driver said he was going to the airport, not the train station. I had to ride my wheelchair to the station, and my wife and daughter had to walk three large pieces of luggage the station. This through weather that had been light rain, but fortunately eased up for our journey. So, the location is good, but the amenities leave a lot to be desired.

Walking distance from the train depot. Breakfast was fine. Staff was fine. Room may not have been newly refurbished, but nothing was in disrepair. I can't understand why so many recent reviews are negative. This facility offered everything I needed.

We asked for a shuttle from the cruise ship dropoff point but it never came, so some of us walked and the rest of our group took a taxi. The desk seemed understaffed. We did get shuttle service the next morning to the airport and the desk worker was courteous. It was a satisfactory stay.

Airport shuttle is a joke. Took for ever for the shuttle to come after I called for it. Rooms, I had lawn chairs in my room, that’s what made it a suite.

"Updates..."

So, there was no table and chairs in the room... I jokingly asked do we have to sit on the floor to eat our meals?! They answered you go to the common tables eat. The window on the first floor was blocked with a plastic pcv pipe to hold it shut. The window on the second floor had rigged pin to keep the window shut, because the original latch was broken. The latch on the door was not even there! And so, when you left to the parking, the doors would not close tight so the street people could just walk in. We should have been charged less for all the insecurities...

This hotel is very dated and tired looking. The room had a pervasive musty smell and the bath tub drain stopper was broken. The breakfast room was out of basics like forks and plates. Would not recommend for the price.

The reception staff could have been more helpful and forthcoming when answering questions. The breakfast provided was not good. The entire facility could use a deep clean and upkeep. The room bathrooms were dingy and small. The prices were too high for the quality presented. However, the shuttle to and from the airport was great. The hotel location was good to walk to numerous restaurants. The breakfast coffee was hot and delicious.

The beds were good. The hvac was very noisy in both the room and the breakfast area. The breakfast area is not large enough for the number of patrons. The bath needs upgrading. There was only 1 chair in the room and no table. No coffee maker in the room. Although some reception personnel were polite and helpful, some were not. They did not makecus feel welcome. We were disappointed in the experience.

This property is old and very tired. We suspect it is overrun by the fishermen who come to fish for salmon in the adjacent Ship Creek, but that makes for poor conditions for anyone else. We had to change rooms to get one with working A.C., but even then furniture was missing, bathroom hardware was janky, lights weren’t all working, there were no cups or coffee makers and the cooked part of the“free” breakfast was inedible. I’ve stayed in more expensive rooms, but never in one this overpriced for what you get.

No silent night

When asked if we had a room preference i specifically said "one away from noise as we have to be up at 2am to get to the airport." The room that backs up to the highway, the train station, construction, and a road that purple apparently sit on and blast music so loud they're subwoofers make the windows rattle wasn't what i had in mind. Don't worry the videos were sent to Wyndham. We did not sleep and our already exhausted children were consistently startled by the noise. The elevator is on its last leg too. You have to call the desk 3+ times before anyone decides to answer. Just overall not a hotel worth ever booking.

Good service, clean but uncomfortable

The shuttle driver, picking us up from the train was very good as well as the one that took us back to the train. Front desk staff was nice, although seemed frazzled. The comfort of our room was poor. It was clean, but there were only two metal chairs in the corner of our room with no table and no other chairs so rather uncomfortable. Very plain. Plus we were put on the lower floor facing the street where a car show was going on with lots of loud cars. Did not get much sleep.
