Rental cars and taxis are available at Ted Stevens Anchorage International Airport (ANC), and the Municipality of Anchorage People Mover Bus provides service to downtown from the airport as well. Bring plenty of layers in the winter since lows can drop to 5 degrees Fahrenheit. Summers are moderate but still cool with highs in the mid-60s.
