Great customer service, great lake views all in general we had an amazing stay.

Was very surprised by the kind service and professionalism by the staff. The three days I was here I wondered why the gift shop was closed.

Spacious room. Super friendly valet & front desk attendants. We stayed during off season, so not everything was open. The bar above the front desk did not offer all food items on the menu. The hotel has great potential, but needs some updating.....particularly the carpets. Needs better mattresses.

Hotel is located in a good place but they need maintenance, they should improve the facilities and invest more in the exterior. It looks old and dirty.

Arrival time was backed up in the lobby with only 3 people checking in which seem to take a long time. We stayed in a cottage which upon arrival our room was not very clean. There was trash from candy thrown in. Cabinet, the mirrors in bedroom had not been clean and displayed child size hand prints all over it. On the chair in corner of room we’re long black hairs stuck to chair. Floor did not appear to be swept and large roach on bathroom floor as well as what appeared to be urine on toilet lid.

we had a wonderful time at latorretta. the place is huge with a very friendly staff that offers great service.the full resort was not open as most state in their reviews.in my experience the room could have been cleaner (there was some dusty residue left behind from recent work done in the room and the room smelled as if if was previously a smoking room. but overall everything was fun and wed go back for more.bed was comfy and room was nice overall.if i had about ten days and everything was open on premise im sure the staff would have me feling 5stars!

The carpet was soiled from the shower leaking into the main room the mattress was bad the couch was tore no ice machine that worked light bulbs were out in the bathroom room was not clean upon arrival this was a mistake staying here I paid a lot of money very disappointed

The phone in our room never did work. Every time we called room service or the front desk, we had to use our cell phone and then they would transfer us to a busy line. It was very frustrating. The canned ceiling light in the bathroom was dangling from the ceiling. And the 2nd floor where we stayed smelled of cigarette smoke.

Overpriced. Little outdated. Room was nice lake view. Only 1 restaurant open. There was a Halliburton meeting going on so was tucked in a corner to eat

We enjoyed our stay, sprcially the pools and lazyriver. Even the beach on the lake was clean and manicured. Perfect location, great upgraded rooms and facilities. Awesome prompt room service with good quality food and great bar too. Best value overall. Definitely this will be our place to stay next times we are north of Houston.

Stayed at this hotel for one night over the weekend. We enjoyed our stay with a few exceptions. The lazy river needed to be cleaned out. There was a lot of debride in the lazy river. We ordered room service and were not impressed with being charged 21% gratuity plus a $3 delivery fee. They did not tell us about these fees and so we left a tip not realizing a big tip was already included. The lady who delivered the tray did not speak English which was annoying because we asked her a question and she was not able to answer. They only have a temporary gym set up right now which isn't very nice and was too warm.

Great place with great location and wonderful staff!

We enjoyed our stay at the hotel on a Saturday night. We liked our room despite some visible stains on couch pillows and walls. Some staff members were helpful such as the valet staff but others were checking their phones, confirming information that was incorrect, or just sitting around. I don't usually leave reviews but this should be addressed.

The overall experience was fine, but would not call it great. The room was clear and met our needs but had a weird smell. The food was just ok at 157 restaurant, nothing outstanding. The pool side grill was awful. It took an hour for our kid's food and they messed up our order. The restaurant was not even busy so it was not an issue of being slammed at lunch time. The resort was clean and the valet service was quick. The location was convenient and the water park kept our kids happy. I would probably stay here again but would not plan to eat here.

It was a nice room but over priced. Check in was very slow and a CANNED dr. pepper was over $2.00

Ac was out in the rooms. Staff did not tell you upon check in. Hotel was completely sold out so unable to move rooms. Staff did bring in some fans and comp the bill. Pool was real nice, staff was friendly.

Last minute trip had us extend our stay 3 days it was so amazing.

Great business location! Would recommend this for family getaways and business!

My fiance and I went to La Toretta for the weekend. We live in Houston, and thought some alone time on Lake Conroe would be fun. We had a blast hanging out at the pool all day Saturday. Our waiter brought us drinks and food, while we enjoyed lounging around the pool. We really recommend this place to anyone living in the Houston area. We had so much fun at the adult pool that we never tried the lazy river or any of the other water parks. We plan on going back there once a month during this summer

Thank you for your nice comments. Guest can still buy a few items by the check-in desk when the Gift shop is closed. the Gift shop does not open everyday on certain days.
