My wife and I visited callaway gardens on feb-22-24. We decided to just stay in Columbus. Everything was just ok. The room was clean the price was great , the breakfast was played over by the other guest so we just went to ihop. Nothing was bad but like I said everything was just ok..

Stayed for a few nights during a conference at the Iron Works in Columbus recently. The rooms are small but comfortable. Nice little kitchen in each room. Bed was comfortable. I did have to request that my room be cleaned - when I checked in, there was something spilled down the wall in the bathroom and the floor was dirty. After the first night, when these things were not addressed, I requested that they do a deep cleaning. They did. It is a nice facility, but they should work on their housekeeping service. I would still stay there again.

I had a pleasant 2 day stay at this hotel recently. Location is near the airport and as close to Interstate highway I-185 as you can get. The Fairfield Inn and Suites by Marriott is next door. The hotel and suites look a bit old and will definitely not appeal to everyone. However I found my suite to be cozy and more inviting than many more luxurious hotels. Kind of reminded me of a comfortable 1-bedroom apartment from my school days. At any rate the price is good and the service is excellent. Here are a few notes: Parking - ample Housekeeping - good, no problems Room amenities - microwave, refrigerator, 2 burner stove, coffee maker. Glasses and coffee cups, probably plates and bowls and utensils but I didn't check. Restaurants within walking distance - definitely not. Breakfast - somewhere between Best Western and Hampton Inn Noise - none from the airport. My room faced away from the Interstate so zero traffic noise. No noise from guests except a door closing once in a while. Bed - no complaints. Overall I would definitely stay here again.

We evacuated from Florida during Hurricane Irma. The hotel was extremely full as others also sought safe haven. The hotel staff was calm, reassuring, and despite the constant requests of anxious guests, extremely helpful and accommodating. Elosha B. was one of several who stood out. She was extremely friendly, always smiling, and anticipated guests needs during this tumultuous time.

We had a very pleasant experience during our recent visit to Columbus, Georgia. The staff was absolutely professional and very pleasant. The ladies at the receptionist desk, Tanisha and Jordan were exceptional. The room we reserved was a bit small, but all else was above expectation.

We made a quick trip to Columbus to celebrate our 12th anniversary. I had some Marriott points and this is one of the hotels that popped up that we could get for free. I thought okay it's a pretty good bargain! This is an extended stay hotel - so no drive up and check in like normal hotels. So we parked came in to check in - everything with that process was great. The staff had our room ready and it was early (3:45 instead of 4 PM). We had room number 132. It is really a small apartment. Small kitchenette, living room, bathroom and bedroom. So it was spacious. It is dated though - the lamp shade was torn, knicks and scratches on the furniture, the bed was not the most comfortable by a long shot. The room itself was clean though and for the brief time we were actually in the room it served its purpose.

After spending a night at the Hilton Garden Inn we moved to the Town Place Suites as a room became available and our softball team was staying there. Much to my surprise the room we had was quiet and clean. Enjoyed having the full kitchen even though we didn’t use it. Staff was delightful and responsive to our needs. Would stay again if I’m in the area.

The people that work here are so welcoming and happy to help you in any way they can. I was only here for two night but if and when we come back this is the place to stay. I felt at home. Joraan athe the front desk was so helpful and caring. Thank you for employing her!

I don't even know where to begin. We had to evacuate Fernandina Beach Florida during hurricane Irma because my mother is a dialysis patient. Our wonderful experience at TownePlace Suites started with a warm welcome from Jordan and it just got better from there. One of the MANY sweet and helpful housekeepers helped us to our room and made sure we had everything we needed. The customer service at this location was OUTSTANDING. I cannot say enough good things about them. I even had a staff member offer to go and get his umbrella and let me use it when I took my dog out for a walk. I'm sure the work load during this time was 3 times more than usual because of all the people staying there due to the evacuation but you would never know it by the pleasant demeanor of each and every employee. They all deserve a raise or at least a bonus for their amazing service. Not only at TownePlace Suites but the entire town of Columbus gave us a warm welcome everywhere we went. If I ever have to travel to Columbus again, I will certainly stay at TownePlace Suites. Sincerely, Diane Schneider

Visited with our pets while fleeing Hurricane Irma. Very accommodating staff. Room was beautiful, clean and well appointed. Ample sized fridge and kitchen area in general. Ice machine in lobby is a nice plus. Able to order food from many local restaurants. Even under these stressful circumstances we enjoyed our stay.
