Super 8 - Columbus Airport

The staff refused to call a taxi to the airport for me because "that function is not available." Unbelievable. I tried using the room's phone and it didn't work. Called the front desk and they said "you need to press 8 then the number", "I'm doing that" I replied, "actually none of the phones work it's a problem with AT&T" they said. Amazing. I'm amazed at the terrible service at this place. Breakfast was disgusting and almost non existent. Stay at the place next door instead. They gave me a taxi number that actually answered and arrived.

Nice hotel and room except for metal plate missing between room door. Mgr. did point to extra guard for door and security camera. To express his hotel is good.

I made reservations from a Friday to the next Friday to escape hurricane Irma, we booked a week because of the uncertainty and when Monday rolled around we found out that since the storm changed track that we would be able to return early, so I contacted the booking company that we went through and they said that they did not have a problem with us leaving early and that they would contact the Super 8 property and make sure it was okay with them and the manager was not on duty so they sent him an email, now that Tuesday was here and we needed to check out by 11:00 AM to keep from having to pay another day the front desk clerk said the manager would be in at 12:00 PM and that she was sure he would not care that we checked out a few days early because of our situation and that the rest of our money would be refunded to our card, the very next day I saw that Super 8 had charged me with an extra days stay because we left early and they have not refunded any money back to my card yet, I called the manager of the property and asked him why the charged me another $78 from my card and he said because we checked out early he was charging us for another day even after I explained that the front desk clerk told us that we could and he was VERY RUDE and pretty much told me that that's what he was going to do anyways . I WOULD NEVER NEVER NEVER STAY AT THIS PLACE EVER AGAIN

The rate was quoted at $60.00 a night / 2 queen beds / breakfast / free wifi. The best thing I can say is the room was clean, the beds were comfortable, the staff was pleasant. However, there was NO WIFI except in the middle of the night (1 am ) and before 8am in the morning. We were told it was because everyone was using it. No hotel we have ever stayed in that offered wifi (free or otherwise) failed to deliver it under normal conditions.. So we had to leave the hotel every day, go to the public library for 4-5 hours to keep up with office work and schoolwork as we left our home in southwest Florida under a mandatory evacuation. Then, when we learned that FL was discouraging evacuees from returning home and needed to book another nigh.t The hotel upped the charge to $80.00 for the extra night "because the hurricane was now in GA and we have to charge more" That's a quote from the front desk. .Room had no place to put clothes - no hangers, no dresser- we were there six nights and had to live out of a suitcase. There were no seats in the room except one desk chair that was like a miniature sliding board. We were there with our 15-year-old son and had to spend the majority of our time sitting on the beds. The "free" breakfast was sad. If you weren't there by 8 am you didn't have much to choose from - a few dry muffins, cereal etc. Most uncomfortable furniture I ever sat on. Board hard! The hotel was "pet-friendly" so dogs were barking all night! But the absolute lack of internet was the most inconvenient thing of all as it was the only source we had for direct information from our local area at home as to hurricane conditions and evacuation instructions. Worst Super 8 experience EVER. And then we were slapped with the up charge at check-out for a normal week night...not a week-end!

It sucked people rude, someone try to break in my SUV & broke my handle out then broke my front headlight desk & manager never would check the camera. Cops took people to jail for leaving toddler unattended several hours drugs being used on property. Dogs barking all day & night rooms wasn't cleaned well, loud Mexican music all night long. Prices changed from time I called to time we checked in rooms. Office refused to refund money we left early and they still said I couldn't be refunded my money even for the time we wouldn't be there to stay. Ran out of toilet paper not enough towels. Just a freaking nightmare & I would NEVER go back or recommend anyone to ever stay at this location. Stay was so horrible I drove my family back home threw the hurricane :(

The facility itself isn't too shabby. Staff was friendly. The renovations are nice but, the smell of cigarette smoke is stuck in the walls. They force you to pay a $25 CASH ONLY deposit. As if that really stops guest from smoking in the rooms. My hair and luggage smelled like cigarettes when I left. My asthma has been acting up since I checked out. Also, I found it kind of unprofessional to not be able to hold the $25 deposit on credit card.

The exterior of the property & the hallway area is rather creepy, but, the rooms are clean, modern and nice...appears to be an old hotel...exterior and hallway hasn't been updated, but, rooms have. Worth the fee. It was a last minute booking; and price was reasonable.

The room was nice newly renovated the ac was great Internet was ok it wasn't fast and it wasn't slow.ok the people that work here are rude they only give you two towels mind you there was 4 of us and they wouldn't give us 2 extra towels the guy at the front desk didn't wanna give out toilet paper lol like you want me to use your towels?!its just freaking toilet paper!we stayed here for a week and I would avoid if you're staying longer than 2 nights.they need some customer service trainings

Clean room, the rooms were very nice on the inside very modern the staff was nice. The location was good and parking was good . The only thing I would like would be a work out room but there was a gym a short distance away so it was no problem. Great price we are going again to the area in a month and we made reservations at the same motel because we were very happy with the motel also had hot water never ran out Gary

The room is very affordable. I was expecting a cheap and dirty room but was surprised. Free continental breakfast
