Bed Bug Concern: This property's proximity to King's Island drew our attention. When we arrived, we pulled out the sleeper sofa and quickly noticed blood on both sides of the mattress, indicative of bed bugs. We dialed the front desk and the associate stated we would need to come down to the lobby to change rooms. When we gathered our things and arrived downstairs, the colleague asked why we didn't only send one person down, and seemed irritated. We pointed out that he'd simply stated we would need to return to the lobby. We were not pleased. He apologized that housekeeping "probably missed the blood," and provided us with a new key. We went to the next room and quickly checked under mattresses, finding only a spot on a sheet, which we then removed from the bed. At this point, it was after 11: 00pm. We got up pretty early and immediately found that one of us had a bite, and the comforter which we'd unfortunately overlooked had old blood stains. We packed up and headed out... Very poor experience with a fairly high price tag, due to the location.

The hallways were dark, dirty and smelled awful. The room was clean and did not have the smell of the hallways. We had no hot water in our shower! The carpets in the room looked very dingy. The pillows were amazing!

The property is older and not as nice as we had hoped. The service at the desk was not very helpful. I asked upon check in if we could pay cash. I was told yes we could when checking out. Next morning, the same employee told me sorry my card had already been charged. Personally, we will spend extra money next time to stay in a nicer facility.
I loved the breakfast. There were so many choices. The couch was a nice touch. It was clean. The parking wasn’t super great. I had to park around the building and walk around, but other than that it was a great price and experience. The pool is small, but it is inside. There was only one small trash can in the room. It had build in USB plugs. The blankets were clean, white, smooth and plush. Nice desk to sit at. Over all this place was an A+.
