I recently made a reservation for me and my show dog at the Comfort Inn - Chilliwack. I was told that there was a $25 deposit and a $10 charge for my dog and I agreed. I arrived at 9 p.m. and was told that they did not have a room for me even though I had a reservation. The front desk employee, Hannah, said that if I took my dog to the room, she would charge me $250 extra and she cancelled my reservation. I asked to speak to a Manager and she said that the Manager, Jan, was at home and did not want to be bothered. I asked her to call her anyway, Jan said that this happens a lot, there was nothing she could do and hung up on me. I contacted the Corporate Offices and received a Comment ID and a promise that I would hear back in 7 - 10 days. It has been 3 weeks with no response. If you are attending a dog show (or any event) in Chilliwack, DO NOT stay at the unComfort Inn, I highly recommend the Coast Hotel.

Even with the front desk person seeing the bugs, and even with pictures of the bites, the management tells us there were no bugs found in our room. What total crap! We approached the front desk at about 10pm at night and she came up to see the bugs. She clearly saw them and commented that it was "gross". Of course the hotel was completely full so we moved to cots in the room.... we should have left but moving the kids at that time was hard. We were not 100% sure they were bed bugs and management assured us they looked with lights and found no bugs. Look at the picture below.... clearly they are wrong. One of the kids has now taken the bugs home and the family is dealing with the bugs at their house now ! Oh yah and a bunch of cars were broken into and we were told after the fact that they had had these problems before and were adding cameras in the future - a little too late for our trip ! NEVER STAY HERE AGAIN !

Hotel price is too high for what you get. Rooms are clean. Breakfast is included in the cost and there is a small sitting area to eat your breakfast. Not enough parking. Numerous hotel guests had to park their vehicles in non designated parking areas. Guests did not want to park off the hotel site as there is some one going around smashing vehicle windows. Internet was not strong enough to watch Netflix, play computer games or Xbox. The hotel is currently being renovated.

Rooms on second floor were better than the first. Had to move because our initial room toilet would not work. We were with a group that had pre-booked but unfortunately the site wouldn't honor the arranged group pricing with ALL group members. Some people paid much more while others had the proper group rate. There is NO security or cameras in the parking area. They warn you when you check in to park in the front of the building. The parking is limited and I was unable to park in front. I parked on the side of the building under bright lights and someone tried to break into my car. Smashed my window. 4 other vehicles windows were smashed and cars ransacked the same night. If the hotel was aware they have a theft and vandalism problem, why are they not providing security on site? The next night more cars that were parked out front, also had windows smashed and things taken. The staff were nice but have a sense that the management is very unconcerned with the comfort of their guests. I will NEVER stay here again, nor recommend it. I think a rating of 1 is too high......

Rooms are fine and reasonably priced. Someone broke our side window out and rifled thru our stuff but really didn't take anything. Another vehicle also had its side window broken out. The hotel instantly gave us a list of glass companies to contact for a repair. The staff were not helpful. We had to contact the police ourself, they didn't even say anything about the incident at all. The glass guy said it was common for this to happen and had repaired a window from there the day befor. I would recommend they install better lighting, security cameras and night staff.

Clean rooms, pet friendly means you could have a happy dog next door, breakfast okay but no place to sit, have to take tray to your room, however no elevator. The confirmed internet price may not be what you get when you check out, twice it was tens of dollars more.

We usually stay in another motel brand but this was on our route to the B.C. Ferry, we have stayed in Comfort Inns a few times prior. Staff was pleasant, rate was reasonable. Because we had a fair amount of stuff to unload that we didn't want to freeze we needed a motel type with separate entrances. Furnishings were much nicer than we've had at the 'other' chain brand. Room was spotless, lots of pillows which meant I didn't need to bring any from our vehicle, the beds were very inviting and so comfortable. Lighting was good for a change. The breakfast had a little more selection than others we've stayed at. Pancakes which looked good from a plate that went by. Is made by a machine I'm not familiar with, plus waffles, eggs, toast, pastries, cereals, juices and the usual stuff. Excellent Greek Yogurt.

This Motel has been renovated & a perfect spot to stop over on the way to B.C's Interior. The rooms are clean , comfortable & quiet. They serve a wonderfull breakfast including Belgian waffles, scrambled eggs, bacon, sausages, cold & hot cereals, muffins, toast, juices & tea or coffee. A great place to stay.

All the direct services of the hotel were great but when my vehicle got broken on night one, the hotel said they could do nothing. I went and got the window repaired but on night two, they came back and broke the same window plus broke into a number of vehicle that were there for a hockey tournament. Yet the hotel did nothing. A person on a bike was seen fleeing the scene the night of the first incident. On night three, decided to park my vehicle elsewhere which was good as they came back again and broke into to more vehicles. Yet the hotel did nothing. There are no security cameras nor did they get a security guard in nor offer me a free night. This is not a cheep hotel as room rates were $104.00 off season. Since the insurance company could not give me an appointment to see my damage till the end of the month. I am out over $800.00 in repairs. After speaking with the police, they said they have over 20 incidents of vehicles broken into. This is Chilliwack's bike people(Druggies) who sleep all day and then come out after midnight to go shopping.

Booked this accommodation with advance pre payment for lowest rate. Inn is right off Hwy #1 by the Cottonwood Mall. Have stayed here on numerous occasions but noted that they have upgraded the reception, breakfast, hallways, and rooms. The room was clean, comfortable, well organized & included a fridge and micro wave. The front desk staff was very friendly & welcoming. The included breakfast was one of the better I have had in my Canadian travels, waffles, pancakes, scrambled/hardboiled eggs, sausages plus breads, cereals, muffins, etc. Very nice spread and was refreshed during the breakfast period.
