This property has some major issues that are not mentioned in the listing. MUST READ BELOW1. The height of the entrance door to the property is 5 Feet 3 Inches. That means you must bend down to enter through the door. In addition, the height of the doors to the bedrooms are only 5’ 6” and the ceiling height of the unit is just under 6’. Anyone over 5’ 3” needs to be aware of this - LOW CLEARANCE. Also, the bedroom and bathroom doors do not fully close.2. The floor in the unit is severely uneven. It is so uneven that you can roll a water bottle from one end to the middle of the unit without pushing it. In addition to ducking to get through the doorways, you also must watch your footing to avoid tripping.3. There is no thermostat in the unit. The thermostat is located on the first floor and that is the owner’s area. I have never stayed in a unit where a renter has absolutely no control over the temperature.4. The pictures of the unit make it look cozy. However, if you were to view the rooms from the other direction you would see – wires, exposed beams, unfinished corners and a fly trap filled with flies.5. If we knew about the issues above, we would NEVER have booked the unit – regardless of the price.Also, since this unit is listed as a Kitchenette it does not have a stove.On the positive side, the neighborhood was safe, parking was good and hot plate was offered. Communication with owner was fine, but really what can they do when they omit pertinent information.
