Overall the room was clean, attractive. Beds were comfortable. Bathroom clean but could be updated.

Arrived near midnight. Prompt pickup at Midway. Efficient support at the hotel. All services were well-supported (i.e. logistics, computer use, breakfast, chech-in/out).

Parking was a little tight but overall a nice place and pretty convenient to McCormick (about a 25 min drive in the morning a little longer at night)

Prefer to book next time. Quiet place and Good breakfast.

steve(i believe) at the front desk is awesome and extremely professional and courteous. my room was nice. the beds are a little uncomfortable but overall very nice

Very nice hotel with very friendly staff. Nice fire pit and pool. Grill to grill out if needed.

convenient, close to Midway Airport and public transportation

Hotel room was nice and cozy, staff and front desk were excellent.

I booked my hotel through Orbitz which was my first mistake. The hotel is central to shopping, the train and the freeway which was a plus. The staff is courteous. The parking is very limited and you have to get a pass to park in the neighboring bank lot. The rooms are basic and need updating. The sink and tub were cracked and stained. The room and bath were tiny for the money paid. There are soap and shampoo dispensers. It worked for the time I was there but I didn't find it to be comfortable or a value for my money.

Clean, staff friendly, free breakfast starts at 0600 - but I was catching a flight at 0530... And it may not be a hot breakfast available THAT early but they make sure fresh coffee, donuts, etc are available to grab for people w those REALLY early flights. Which is clutch for those "Don't speak to me until I've had coffee or breakfast" types to hold them over until you've gotten to airport, thru security, etc. I was moving back south so I had my work cpu with me and two suitcases that I couldn't carry alone and one of the guys not only carried luggage to room without needing to be asked for help, but did so while I checked in without needing to be asked, brought bags inside and turned the light on so I could see which room it was that late. Nice, roomy rooms. Looks like bed linens and such could def use upgrading tho. Bedsheets seemed threadbare.

Loved that I was able to get a ground room. My Dad is handicapped, it really helped. So happy for the shuttle bus. The driver was very nice and helpful, as were the people at the front desk. I would definitely recommend this place.

The hotel is what I expected for the price! Very friendly staff & very helpful. It's at a great location! About 20 min or more to downtown Chicago! The housekeeping team was awesome at what they do & made sure we had what we needed at any time.

The room met our expectations. We were pleasantly surprised regarding its cleanliness and comfort levels. The hotel staff was friendly and courteous. Breakfast offerings exceeded our expectations.

Great place to stay overnight. Great staff. I wild recommend this place to friends.

Nice location between airport & Downtown..... Easy drive from both point ( no traffic jam) ..... This was a business trip. Mc Cormick Exhibition event.

Staff was very helpful. I got in after dark, asked about places to eat and they gave me a listing of about 20 places with what type of food, eat in, take out, delivery. Made decisions easy. Very clean, quiet and comfortable.

I read online reviews for the Carlton Inn. We were looking for a place to stay for one night that didn't cost $200-$300/night-we were in town for one night for a wedding and wouldn't be in the room much except to shower, change clothes, and sleep. Many hotels in the Chicago area charge for parking now. Crazy. Carlton Inn does not charge for parking. I read that their lot was small, but we had no trouble finding a parking place. The staff was very friendly and helpful. Room was clean. Though the hotel is near Midway airport it was quiet. We felt safe in the neighborhood. I recommend Carlton Inn if you are looking for a room for a short stay for a reasonable price. The exceptionally helpful and friendly staff and cleanliness of the room were a plus--I've stayed in much more expensive places that weren't even close with regard to staff and cleanliness.

Hotel is about 4 blocks from train that goes to heart of downtown Chicago. About 20-30 minute ride. Staff will drive you to train stop and/or nearby stores as well as nearby Midway Airport. Room was decent and very modestly priced compared to downtown hotels.

The staff were extremely helpful and had many resources to offer us. The room was clean and the complimentary breakfast from Dunk N Donuts was good. The only thing that bothered me was the location. The Inn was located in a rougher part of the city. However, the train was located within a mile's walk, which was convenient with traveling around.

Parking is free, which was a big plus after seeing the overnight fees at the hotels downtown. The location is great - right down the road from the CTA station, where you can take the train to downtown or to the airport. The rooms were very tidy and looked as though they had been recently renovated. There was a large variety for breakfast - donuts and croissant sandwiches from Dunkin' Donuts, yogurt, fruit, bagels, cereal, orange juice, coffee. We thought it was great.
