A very economical motel that is clean and safe with a little character.

No ice smelly room. Smelled like body odor. Lack of towels.

The Econolodge was very conveniently located, being near good bars and restaurants, coffee shops, and walkable to the Golden1 arena. They also had surprisingly good pillows. The trade off is that it is very run down, not everything in the room worked (iron, tv remote), and you may have trouble sleeping due to the local urban campers screaming though the night. We didn't feel unsafe, but we did keep a watchful eye. Our Uber drivers also questioned our sanity. I appreciated the ambiance but my two travelling partners did not. So I wouldn't stay here if you are very particular about your accomodations, but if you don't mind roughing it a little then I'd say go for it.

Shabby, frayed curtains. Cooling/heater unit screen torn half off and flapping when on. Unit was also very loud when in use.
