Absolutely wonderful vacation! Beautiful beach’s and pools, awesome food and service. everything was very clean, they are taking the COVID situation very seriously and are constantly cleaning and sanitizing everything. We loved how empty the resort is right now due to the occupancy restrictions! If you can go now I would definitely recommend to do so! The only thing to watch out for is the time share presentation, we did it to help our Concierge get bonus points but once we were there they really do not take no for an answer and almost have to be rude to finally walk away. We will absolutely be back to think resort in the future!

When I first arrived, I was astonished at the immaculate condition of the beach and pool area, It must be the most well preserved beach area I have seen in Mexico and the Caribbean. But too many negatives; they hold your room key during meals, causing you to wait unnecessarily to get it back; every time you order, you are asked your full name and room which they write down, what is the point of the all inclusive bracelet?; you CANNOT get a bloody mary or mimosa at breakfast because they don't serve alcohol until 10am, never seen that at any of 20 other all inclusives; the pool opens at 7am but again you can't get drink from the pool bar until 11am; gym opening shows 6am but didn't open until 7am; would not return, will stick with Secrets and Iberostar.

If you want a place to hang out on the beach, splash around in the pool, or as a base for your own explorations of the Cancun area, then this is a fine place to be. The amenities are a little thin but there's enough dining to be interesting and there's something to be said about sitting on the beach surrounded by gorgeous white sand. Staff is a little uneven, but that seems par for the course for the area. I didn't take advantage of concierge services as much as I should have but they were gracious and helpful when I asked. If you're looking for something that will give you a week's worth of stuff to do without leaving the property, this isn't it. But I had a very pleasant time while carving out my own things to do and coming back to my room to have a full dinner delivered to my door after a day of adventure.

Huge pool, great beach, good service. We’ve been coming for 5 years now.

I love coming to the Sands. This is my fifth time staying here and I'll be back. The staff is amazing and always friendly. This place is always immaculately clean and the food is wonderful. I can't say enough good things about this place!!

The beaches and pools were great wish there was more of a night life and a fewore places to eat

Excellent hotel and service. All inclusive is best deal here.

Staff was friendly and facility was easy to navigate

The property was beautiful and was kept in pristine condition. Very impressed!

It had a great view, delicious food options and the service was impeccable. I definitely recommend!

Great location, beautiful view. All-inclusive package was fantastic - great food, drinks and good service.

The staff, beach, rooms, and food were all fantastic. Wish there was a late night option for drinks. The sports bar closes at 11.

Everything was great except the beds. Beds were uncomfortable.

wonderful staff but making us give our room card while wearing an all-inclusive bracelet was annoying

Everything was good . The staff and all the workers were very polite and friendly

Dear Ben, Thank you for your review and for sharing your candid feedback. We truly value all our guests and are disappointed to hear that your stay did not live up to your expectations. We always encourage our guests to let us know of any needs or issues that they may encounter during their stay as we want the opportunity to make it right. We apologize for the inconvenience of having to sign the bill when you receive your food and beverages. This is merely to keep track of our consumption centers. Our resort is a mixed-use resort with some guests coming in a hotel-like vacation with an all-inclusive package and some others who are members staying without a meal plan. Regarding the alcohol availability times, as our Manager informed you, we are complying with government regulations. We regret to learn that this affected the full enjoyment of your stay. We want to make sure our guests have the very best vacation experience possible, and we hope you give us the opportunity to welcome you back once more to enjoy a vacation that's up to the high standards we've held for our Royal Resorts members and guests for more than 40 years. Warm Regards.
