Getting Around: Catch an orange line train from Forest Hills (10-12 minute walk) and you'll be in downtown Boston in about 15 minutes. If you're exploring Centre Street, take the 39 Bus to Back Bay Station.
JP is also the most bike-friendly neighborhood in Boston; the Southwest Corridor Park stretches to Back Bay and is well worth the ride. Didn't bring your bike with you? Rent a Bluebike, Boston bicycle sharing program, for $10/day. The closest Bluebike station is 7 blocks away from our home.
Should you choose to bring a car, please be advised there is only on-street parking available. We advise all our guests to observe street signs and street cleaning days to avoid getting a ticket.

Our group of 10 enjoyed the two night stay at this location.
The space was appointed beautifully and clean!
The subway a short 10-15 minute walk away and we felt safe.
20 minutes to airport depending on traffic
A few improvements would be welcomed… more tea spoons , coffee filters needed .
The linen spray used on the sheets was far to strong and should be unscented for people with allergies
The communication with the host was terrific.
We would be glad to choose this location again.

perfect place for our two families
Two families traveling from Iowa in Boston for the first time. This was the perfect place for us. We took the T into the city for a game at Fenway, which was super easy. Appreciated the washer and dryer and the cozy living space.

Overall this place was exactly what we needed. It was spacious, clean, wonderfully decorated, the host was extremely helpful with all my questions about check in, about tolls, about Boston.
I would say parking was the one thing I wish was better. This however is out of their control. If you have never been to the area the street cleaners come once a week. Other than that one day parking was available close to the rental.
Do your research about Jamaica Plains so you know the area you will be in.
I highly recommend eating at Roslindale House of Pizza. Its close, the food is good with LOTS of options, the customer service was above expectations.

College Visit
Our family came together to see our Grandson at Wentworth. I loved that the way the house is set up we were able to gather centrally to eat, laugh and lounge. If you're not familiar with Boston drivers, the street parking may be a concern but Uber was quite beneficial!
