When I checked in last night, everything was great and appeared clean & well maintained. This morning, as a I sat down to do some work at the desk in room... several small bugs/roaches ran out from behind the desk as I turned the lights on. They ran all over my laptop, coffee cup, etc. It was disgusting. I had planned to work from my room for a while this morning, but instead packed up and left the hotel promptly. It was a terrible experience. I notified the front desk and they were very verbally apologetic, but that does not resolve the matter. I can see from other reviews now that this has been an ongoing issues at this property... why isn’t it being dealt with? I just pray that no roaches have stowed away in my luggage. I killed a couple, but many more scurried off. Picture is of the couple I managed to get. I WILL NOT be staying here again. I am a Gold Elite rewards member (2 stays away from Platinum) that paid over $200 for the room... I expect more from a Marriott property.

The room and facility at the Courtyard Beaumont were just fine, but the employee working the Bistro the evening of 12/2 and the employee working the front desk the morning of 12/3 were just absolutely rude. I booked a block of 17 rooms for my soccer team players and parents so that we could attend a soccer tournament the weekend of 12/2 and 12/3. That is quite a bit of business that I brought to your hotel. After a long day of games on 12/2, we came back to the hotel and ordered pizza for the team who were all sitting in the TV area. The employee working in the Bistro came over and complained that we had a bag of plates, parmesan cheese, and red pepper sitting on one of the Bistro tables. She said that we were not allowed to use any of the Bistro tables since we weren't paying for their food. This was interesting especially since the only other group in the Bistro was a family eating food from McDonalds in one of the booths, and there was another soccer team eating food from a local Mexican food restaurant in the Bistro at lunch. For some reason, it was OK for them to do this. She also rudely handed us trash bags and told us to clean up after "our people". She continued to make rude comments to members of our team about cleaning up the place, which we absolutely did, including taking the trash out the dumpster since the employee also complained about possibly having to do that. When checking out the morning of 12/3, I noticed that there was a $4.95 charge for internet. I politely informed the front desk clerk and let her know that we were using the free WiFi, and that there must have been some mistake. She removed the charge, but she made sure to tell us that she checked, and that we definitely agreed to the charge by clicking on it. I told her that I was glad that she pointed that out, but that she was wrong. She kept arguing and was again quite rude. Other than these 2 employees, the rest of the staff was perfectly fine, but as the saying goes, a few bad apples can ruin the bunch.

Stayed here for work and it was conducive to getting things done. Having the Bistro in the lobby with food readily available and Starbucks made life easier! It is close to restaurants (Crazy Cajun, Lupe Tortilla), and shopping.

My town flooded and I evacuated and could not return to home because my town was isolated by high waters. My company got me this room so I could return to work. The hotel had sporadic water supply and any water was not potable. The hotel also had trouble staffing because employees could not get through the water. The room was nice and the service very good. Despite the difficult circumstances the staff was accommodating and helpful. We were all in a bad situation and they made things better.

Hotel rooms smell musty. My room had leaking pipe in ceiling. Poor service, did not save room to change me into when pipe leaking . Had to change hotels because they did not save me a room to move to, when maintenance was unable to fix what appears to be leaky toilet in room above mine. I did not want to stay in a room with possible sewer water.

The staff at this property is extremely helpful and friendly. The rooms are very clean and up to date. Just make sure that you request a room away from the interstate. I had a great suite but it was the room closest to I-10 and didn't have a very good rest... Nice place!

Have stayed here several times over the past few months due to 1)proximity to BPT, and 2) easy access to I10. Rooms are clean, and the wifi works well. They serve starbucks coffee, which is typically priced. Haven't tried their bistro options, as quite honestly it is easy to go to several great restaurants within 1-2 miles of the property. Only downside I had during last checkin, is the representative didn't show me a copy of the reservation, nor ask for my car information. I found that a little disconcerting, as I always like to verify my rate, etc. before possibly getting an unpleasant surprise at checkout. Had no issues though, once I asked for the folio.

Liked the place fine it was clean. Breakfast was a little overpriced and one recommendation. Get a room as far away from the freeway as you can. Woke up around six listening to the freeway. Traffic picks up in the mornings.

This property is getting older, but furnishings were updated and a cafe/coffee bar was added. They are swift on laundry turnaround and very responsive to requests. The minus in our room was a crowded sink area so only one fit there at a time, but we staggered our morning routine. Two other rooms in our party had issues with shower trim pieces that were missing which caused leaking, so they were given extra towels to sop up the water. Our bathtub had no texture and no bath mat to prevent slipping, so we placed washcloths on the tub floor to prevent slipping. Otherwise, it is a perfect location for us and easy in and out. Bed was comfortable, but we prefer a firmer mattress.

Booked at another hotel that was not up to par. It was horrible. Then made a reservation last minute at this location and Wesley made our stay pleasant from check in to check out. Thank you so much for making the end of vacation amazing.
