This is a great place to stay in Banff, It is a short walk to shopping and dining. Free parking really helps. Parking is difficult in Banff. It is best to walk and this property is very close to downtown. Many great dinner options are less than a 10 min walk. Stay here. The staff is great.

False advertising

The place was fine. Service very disappointing. I booked here specifically for the dry sauna— and while it was working I was not allowed to use it because the hot tub was not working so the entire area was off limits. No offer for a discount or any sort of compensation AND I found out this had been the case for many weeks yet there was no alert on the website.

Great location to everything Banff has to offer, slightly away from the the hustle of downtown shopping which made it more quiet, but on the main street. Staff was great and helpful. Parking was secure. Room was clean and had amenities, especially the coffee maker which was replenished everyday. Our air conditioner stopped working one night, but they immediately addressed and fixed the issue. We'd stay there again.

Do not stay here. Its worth $100/night, not 600. There hasnt been an upgrade in this place since 1990, the floors were stained, the shower smelled like pee, and the fellow at the front desk was a prick. This hotel is a national tragedy in Canada's most beautiful national park.

We really enjoyed our stay! The hotel is very quiet and clean, which made it so relaxing. The staffs were very accommodating. The view from our room was absolutely amazing, facing the beautiful Rocky Mountains. We’re already planning another trip to Banff and will definitely stay here again.

When I booked this hotel, I booked it for two nights because on the website, they suggest for "Things To Do" is sauna, so I booked this hotel even though the room rate is not cheap. But when we arrived, they said hot tub and sauna are under maintenance. I was so shocked that why did it not mention on the website when I booked and we were told only when we wanted to use the facilities on the first night that they are under maintenance! I think that they closed down these facilities for the summer time, but hotel management should indicate this on the website so that hotel guests know and will decide which hotel to book to. If i have known this when I booked it, I would consider whether this is the hotel that I would book because this impacts my decision very much. Learnt a lesson!
