The beds and pillows needs improvement and we had no hot water on our last day there

Banff was truly amazing!! Lake Louise n Moraine Lake a MUST SEE

This has to be the worst hotel I have stayed in to date, and I don't say that lightly. With a name like the Red Carpet Inn I expected at least a modicum of luxury on par with the other, gorgeous hotels on either side of this one. Boy, was I ever wrong! Our room was oddly placed with an independent outside access, which made me nervous. The bug screen was broken off and they never fixed it. The AC unit was incredibly loud, and they never fixed it. The shower was broken, the water never switched completely to the overhead shower head. We kept having to request extra shampoos because they never left any. The sheets were stained, the room was never vacuumed, and the bathroom was never cleaned. Aside from tucking in the bed and changing the towels, the housekeeping was nonexistent, and the only microwave was down in the lobby. The worst thing: When we went to complain about these issues, the front desk person just shrugged and said, "I'm not the housekeeper." NEVER AGAIN! The service was awful, the facilities terrible. I would have been better eating the exorbitant (for what you get) nightly cost and going to one of the hotels next door.

Location ok, but general speaking not worth to what you pay

At first glance room looked good with new wall paper and fresh paint. Bathroom was renoed with laminated floor imitating the large stone floors. Toilet, sink and faucet and tub/show were new. There were large white tiles above the tub. Unfortunately, the tile work was not professionally done and now has 4 cracks showing. Peeling paint from moisture mars the new look also. Floor in bedroom has a wet rotten board under the carpet. The room would have been 3* if finished well. Charges $200 damage deposit. Front rooms have traffic noise. Just ok room. New staff person was in training with a person who seemed disorganized.

While I realize rooms in the town of Banff will cost more, we got a VERY tiny room. and Parking is crazy. Underground is for small cars, SUV's out back. Many cars were out back, and parking VERY tight. For the price I think we could have done better. Staff was excellent,

Allowed early check-in. Friendly staff. Close to restaurants and downtown area. Very enjoyable stay. Banff is breathtaking!!

This quiet hotel is located on the main street of Banff and is a short walk to the core of the town. The room was well appointed, comfortable and clean. The wifi service worked excellently. We did not use the hot tub, but it looked inviting.

Stayed in a renevated room which looked very nice but bed was old and springs noisy, laminate floor in bathroom moves when you walk on it. Internet signal was strong and had no issues with dropping calls.
