Banff Aspen Lodge is clean and comfortable, with a good location in downtown Banff. It has free underground parking and a pleasant inner courtyard with a hot tub, cool pool and sauna. Beds are comfortable, service is good, and the included breakfast is decent. Highly recommended.

A good place to stay

Friendly hotel close to downtown within walking distance. Good off street parking. Courtyard hot pool and cold pool were wonderful. Breakfast buffet every morning. A good place to stay.

Great stay in Banff, walkable to all the shopping and food, free underground/street parking, steam room, hot tub and sauna are all available. The one bed rooms on the ground floor are super tiny and awkward though, so would recommend booking 2 double beds for a standard hotel room space. Staff was friendly, and free breakfast - actually pretty good - was provided.

This property is located in a very walkable area to see Banff which was nice. The hot tub, pool and sauna are very nice. The breakfast was pretty good. The fruit was canned but the eggs were good. The room was nice with a comfortable bed and pillows but the shower head was not good.

Phone call from staff to confirm my credit card prior to arrival was not friendly, and was abrupt. I was left feeling like I’d done something wrong. Check-in staff were friendlier and were clearly in training as process took time, but I’d rather a friendly customer oriented attitude than the first person I talked with.

The property was absolutely incredible. The interior of the rooms was amazing, and the location was prime. The service and amenities were excellent. In fact, the interior of the rooms exceeded what you would find at a Marriott. While I understand that they charge quite high room rates during the summer months, this property stands out compared to others that charge similar prices but do not offer the same level of service. We were really happy with our stay, and I would definitely recommend this place to others.

This property is 100% not worth the price. It is a renovated 1970’s motel for $700 a night and I had to pay an extra fee for my child on top of that. The front desk attendant was unpleasant and rude. I don’t leave reviews often, but I will never stay here again and will not recommend to anyone else I know travelling to Banff.
