The Canoe was absolutely awesome. Everything was exactly what we were looking for in our stay! The service was impeccable the hot tub was outstanding! The food at Sudden Sally’s was spot on, especially the Japanese wings and the breakfast Benny in the mornings. We liked this hotel so much once we got home, we immediately started to look for a future date to book again! Props to this hotel! 10 out of 10.

Fantastic stay - rooms are cozy with a nice warm fireplace, great coffee selection both in the lobby and the room (pour over on demand). Walls maybe a little thin and a bit out of the way but the free bus fixes that anyways. Onsite breakfast was delicious.

Great hotel amenities (rooftop hot tub, fire, and sauna) but the bed was extremely uncomfortable. For an upper end hotel, I expected a soft bed with plush bedding but it felt like i was sleeping on a crinkly straw mat. I enquired with the front desk but they didn't have a mattress topper (which some hotels offer) and instead offered an extra duvet to sleep on for extra padding. It helped a bit but I didn't sleep well either night. It was very disappointing for a pricey hotel.
