The hotel staff is great and did their best to accommodate. The initial room we were in was not worth the price at all. The bed was right next to the entry/hallway. There is no air conditioner, no fan. For the price we paid, I expected at least a 3 star experience. I asked for a another room. It was much better. But, I’m sure this room goes for a lot more on Orbitz. I’m more upset with Orbitz, than with the hotel.

Overall, it was pleasant. The location is very good and convenient to town. Staff was nice enough. I would pick one of the many other options in/around Banff. It seems like this place waited too long to update, and is doing so only now. There is still quite a bit of construction going on in a large section of the resort, right next to our cabin. The spa are is quite dated. The Wifi is extremely unstable.

The staff at the motel were very nice and helpful. Facilities, however, are old.

the room is not as good as expected. Kind of old. The kitchen is useless. The balcony is a waste, No good view outside.

We loved the condo. Our deck was literally in the forest and we were treated to seeing a deer one morning and we ate breakfast and dinner there with a view of the mountain and the woods - either outside or with the door open.

Not too clean as I said, old, rustic, and not super close to the city. If you can'f find something closer to the downtown, do consider this property as opposed to staying in Canmore. People here are friendly, but one weird thing is, the housekeeping will come to your room even when you're there and ask if you want service each day. Why not just follow the door sign and do it when the occupants leave for their day activity in the park? It was an inconvenience with them knocking on the door every morning. The tea/coffee is not refilled. The bathroom is small, and the shower curtain isn't enough to keep the water in the tub. It flooded the bathroom every single day and we had to throw all towels on the floor to soak it up every single day.

Very helpful staff. Good location. Tours pick up at hotel.

Would stay again, price right! No hot tub but hot springs were wonderful.

My 15 year old son and I stayed here overnight recently. He was really impressed with and enjoyed the room and the facilities. We look forward to returning in the near future

It did not match what we expected. All kitchen's dishes were terrible old with thousand cutting marks. The carpet of hallway before entering the room was peered. Balcony was dirty. Bathroom room's tile was old, and the shower curtain was old and dirty. Without a safety bar and the tub is slipped, I fell on the tub when I took the shower. Lucky of me, had not broken the hand.

Super friendly welcome and staff. Bed was okay. No AC unit (they said it's never needed) but you get a fan. Full smaller kitchen is nice. Free bus to Banff (much better hten trying to park). Overall i liked it. But im sensitive to the heat and there were no windows to open near the bed to cool me off.

So close to Banff (roughly 1 km) yet surrounded by mountains on a hilltop. The best of serenity and proximity!

I keep coming back to this hotel for the value and size of the chalets. I've stayed here 4 times in the last year and will keep coming.

This is our 3rd stay here and we still keep coming back. The service is friendly and the rooms are clean and comfortable. This time we stayed with another couple in a loft suite with one king bed up in the loft and a double bed in a bedroom on the main floor. Ample room for the 4 of us and nice kitchen and bathrooms (yes there were 2!). Great value for the money spent. Our only complaint is Banff was quite noisy until the wee hours of a Saturday summer evening. Even though we were well away from downtown there were still loud rowdy people on the street and coming back to their hotel rooms until 3 am!! Room to room there wasn't much noise though just outside. Wish they could enforce their quiet time more! Other times of the year were much quieter.

Overall the experience was fine although the beds were extremely soft and uncomfortable..A long walk uphill from in town to get to the resort.. Otherwise great place to stay
