Quaint Banff Retreat

The moment you open your door, the view from your room takes your breath away. This is the perfect hotel choice for a quaint mountain retreat. Close to Banff, even an easy walk if you choose, and wonderful views from each room. The Juniper is affordable, has great food and friendly staff.

Our experience at the Juniper was amazing. All the staff at the front desk made us feel very welcome and check in was very smooth. Our room had a gorgeous view on Mount Rundle and the bed was very comfortable. We had supper at the Juniper Bistro. I am a foodie and it did not disappoint. It has a very cozy feel. Our table was in front of the fireplace. The food was fresh with intricate flavours. Our waiter was very friendly and gave us excellent recommendations. The chef also came to our table to chat. Overall, an amazing experience! I would highly recommend and will certainly be back.

The hotel was extremely noisy. The floors in the rooms are hardwood and being built in the 50's the walls allow for hearing through. The hot tub was not very hot.The staff was fruendly and accomidating and the Bisto was very good. The bathtub in our room looked dirty but I think its because of the age of the hotel and could use an uodate.

Was nice to find a place last minute on a Saturday, bathroom door would have ran into knees lol, but all good. Would like a to stay in a chalet with the family sometime

The restaurant was amazing. We did dinner and brunch, and both were incredible. We will definitely eat here again. I don't believe we got the room we paid for and reserved, but when we asked the staff about it, they kind of blew us off. So I feel we paid for an upgraded room that we did not recieve, and therefore overpaid for a downgraded room. Otherwise it was a good experience.
