Room was good. Hot tub was closed the second of our two night stay, which we had planned to use.
It is a lovely property, close to town but just above the fray and crowds. I love the way the floor floor has been transformed into an engaging history display.
Quiet, away from crowds yet only 5 minutes from downtown Banff. The Bistro was excellent. Nice view from the restaurant. The room was clean and simple. We just need a place to stay so satisfied our need. The room rate was reasonable. If you want plush amenities and good hot tub with views try other places.
Amazing location, clean and updated room, great front desk staff, quiet.
Fine 60s style modern hotel in perfect condition. Spacious rooms, great dinning room and friendly staff. A+++ in a quiet location above the Bow River.
Views from the room are spectacular and room is very comfortable , clean and nice
Great views. Location a bit out of town which I did not realize before - but it was close so fine. Clean and basic but some nice design elements to the halls and lobby.
Nice surroundings as well as facilities!! The room is super clean and updated. The staff is polite and professional. We enjoyed our stay.
We have to ask for towels body wash. Three people staying and only 2 tea bags provided. Breakfast and dinner was very expensive.
It was a good stay. I would recommend it to anyone.
The Juniper has always been my choice when I stay in Banff. The hotel is north of the freeway on a quiet pine clad slope overlooking the Bow Valley and surrounding peaks. Having stayed at this hotel for over 30 years during visits to Banff, I am amazed at how the 1950s Frank Lloyd Wright has been kept in it's original form but fully updated in the rooms. The establishment still appears if it were only a few years old. Everything is tastefully and freshly painted inside and out. The spacious dining room is very cozy and the meals are fine European cuisine. This is a great place for rest and quiet with downtown Banff only 2-3 miles away. Perfect for couples and children with hiking trails right off the grounds. A++ place!
We had a comfortable stay before our back country ski. We enjoyed the passes to Banff Springs (because hot tub temporarily out of order). Room comfy and great hearty breakfast (thanks for the discount for our ski big 3 passes) We normally stay in town, chose this to be closer to our trailhead. We will consider Juniper again any time (found easy parking in town)
Two nights in this hotel. The first was the night that we arrived. We are in the Bistro which was outstanding but you have to drive a few miles to get to the city center. The first night was lovely but the second night was extremely noisy. We could hear every step of the people in the room above us and their conversations. There were also children and adults being very loud in the hallway. Next time we will stay in town.
This was our last night in Canada and everything was superb!! Easy to recommend to other travelers. Hope to return one day.
We stayed for 5 days and loved this hotel very much, not only the location, but cleaness. Good experience at Juniper!
I have no complaints about this hotel. Everything was great and the service also excellent. We loved the bistro within the hotel.
