The property is in good shape, the room was nice, staff was great and you have on site parking (the entrance to the garage is only 6"4" high so no big truck). The pillows can use updating as they are hard as rock. Other than that it was very convenient to the bus stop as it is outside the hotel (hotel provides three day bus passes for free). Several places to eat withing walking distance and right on Banff avenue. If you have kids, there is a very nice playground next to the hotel.

1980s vibe. Hotel not updated in ages. Elevator lost power three times while we were in it. Pictures were misleading. Switched hotels after first day. Don’t stay here.

For my wife and I this is 5 out of 5. I gave it a 4 out of 5 for the review because you may find it dated and it in need of some renovation. So it looks a little like 1990 but so do I. We got a room that overlooked the park and we had a great view of the mountains. We could also sit on the balcony and watch the children playing in the park. So no complaints from me, even as the bathroom was maybe a bit rustic and yes there is no food onsite but there is coffee in the morning. It is the location and the free bus pass that makes this the place to stay. Take the bus down Banff Ave and enjoy yourself in Banff. Since the bus stop is one of the first stops you can usially get a seat. Ask the staff for any information, they are very helpful.

Convenient location on the Main Street. Reasonably clean for the age and price of hotel. Pool hours were unclear and loud late at night next to our room. Front desk staff were unhelpful.

Great hotel. Great location

Love this hotel. Our tour didn't end until much past checkout and they allowed us to keep our car in their garage. Only 10-15 minute walk to downtown. Our TV didn't work in our room but we were roo tired to complain. I told them at checkout

The beds were comfortable and it was clean. However, it is very run down. We had trouble with the AC in our room. The management tried to help as best they could but money needs to be put into the hotel as it is very run down.

Property is very nice and stuff is super friendly. Highly appreciated free bus tickets , that was nice touch from hotel . The only comment I can make is that overall prices for accommodation in Banff are super high, I understand that June offers relatively good weather for hiking, still everything is more than doubled in price.

The property is showing signs of age and needs a facelift. Nothing major just cosmetics. Everyone was attentive. Very quiet and underground parking was plentiful and spacious.

Property is outdated and in need of a fresh up. No meal service. The most expensive hotel I have ever stayed at for the condition of the property. The hotel was clean and fairly convenient to town with public transportation.

The Rundlestone was excellent. The staff was very welcoming, helpful, patient and polite. The accommodations were exactly as advertised. The room was clean and had everything we needed. The pool and hot tub areas were clean and well maintained. I had an excellent stay and would highly recommend The Rundlestone if you’re planning to stay in Banff!
