The Space:

This newly renovated and redecorated home offers the best of mountain life with fresh designs in a tranquil atmosphere.



All bedrooms have their own full bathrooms with showers/tubs, so guests can have their privacy and space when needed.



On the ground floor you will find a spacious kitchen, bar, living and dining room, as well as a bedroom with 2 queen beds.



On the second floor, there are 3 large bedrooms all with king beds and private bathrooms.



The newly built back deck offers a BBQ with seating for friends and family to relax and take in the mountain air.



The Neighborhood:

The neighbourhood is a quiet residential area with young families all around.



The home is only 2 blocks away from Banff Ave, offering shops, restaurants, cafes, bars, galleries and more.



Getting Around:

Buses are available on Banff Ave, but taxis and bikes are the best way around town if you don't have your own car.



Other Things to Note:

Our property manager lives in a separate suite in the basement of the home. It is accessed through a separate entrance and is completely separate from the main section of the property. You will likely never see or hear the tenant during your stay.
The vacation home is heated and features a kitchen, 4 bathrooms, and a balcony, and there's space to spread out with 4 bedrooms. Other standard amenities include a washing machine, a fireplace, and a coffee maker.

The house was clean but we could not control the heat. After contacting the property manager to turn down, the downstairs tenants turned down. Then we didn’t have enough internet to run the television (or any phones.). We unplugged the router to reset it, unaware it controlled both the house and basement properties. The owner in the basement came to front door and yelled at us then he turned heat up ridiculously high. Also, the fire escape back door was locked from the other side. Had there been a fire we would have been able to escape from only the front door! Never again will we stay at a property with tenants in basement(we were unaware of this when we booked- the mention of it was in tiny writing on site.
This was not on the Internet unless you read the fine print. We had 5 boys with us and we would have noticed it.

The house was awesome and well stocked with paper products, shower products, etc…. Town of Banff parking rules/locations are a challenge therefore recommend that one space always be available to guests in this house.

Extremely basic amenities in the bathrooms- given the daily accommodation rate we paid. No device supplied to remove snow from front path- had to borrow from a neighbour.We may have been staying in a hotel, no warmth in communication- they noted that they manage over 100 places and offered a 5% discount on further stays up until the 30th December 2025 with the offer sent to us January 2026.

Family vacation

Our family of 10 adults spent a wonderful week in Banff. This home was the perfect location, the property manager was very responsive, and had we not run into the tenants who live there when we first parked, we would t have even known they were there. Would for sure stay there again!

Good location but disappointing

The location of this home is excellent- easy to find and perfect for enjoying the town of Banff. That said, we were disappointed in the condition of the house overall. It felt a bit run down, and the kitchen was especially frustrating. It was disorganized and missing many basic supplies you’d expect in a rental. We cooked two meals during our stay, but it was difficult and required improvising with random items. Things like tiny room fans, crusted shower heads, a toilet that started leaking and became unusable for the last 36 hrs of our stay, and a moldy washer are just a few examples of details that made the stay uncomfortable. The space has potential but unfortunately didn’t meet our expectations.

Wonderful house in a winter wonderland. The house had comfortable beds, plenty of room for our family to spread out, a well-appointed kitchen (only missing measuring cups/spoons), and a perfect location close to action but quiet at night. Mountain Home was just what we were looking for

A wonderful and casual home in a perfect location. Just two blocks from the main intersection in Banff. The kitchen and bathrooms are recently-renovated and were very clean. If we return to Banff, we will definitely rent again.

Multi-family ski trip

This property deserves more than 5 stars for location! Not only are you a block or two from the Main Street, but the free shuttle to Sunshine was just 2 blocks away.Also, having en suite bathrooms for each bedroom made it really convenient for our multi-family stay.The house was well appointed with the basics like dish and laundry detergent, plastic wrap, paper towels, etc. Would highly recommend!

PERFECT location, and super comfy!

Seriously, to be around the corner from all the restaurants and shops and amenities was amazing. Banff is such a cute little town, we definitely will come back - and we will DEFINITELY rent this house again! The beds were awesome (something you normally can’t say about vacation rentals), and all the rooms were well outfitted. I thought that the rental only having 1 TV would be an issue for us but we enjoyed the area so much that we never even turned it on. Thank you, and we WILL be back!
