I was pleasantly surprised to book this hotel online for an entire week for an amazing price! I was skeptical that it may be somewhat mismanaged because of the price. Upon arriving, my room was very clean and well taken care of. The pool is small, but enough to get wet in the hot weather. The breakfast was fresh and hot each morning. The staff members were all friendly and helpful. I had a few small requests that were fulfilled immediately. Very courteous and professional! Would highly recommend staying here!

I awoke my first morning at this facility in a bed that had been soaked in urine from a previous occupant and apparently just made over by housekeeping. Then, not only did the housekeeping staff lie about replacing the mattress the next day, the Manager lied about it as well, to insulate herself from any repercussions from Marriott corporate. I am a Marriott Platinum Elite member and spend over 200 nights a year in Marriott facilities. I can say for a fact that this is the WORST stay, and the WORST management staff and the WORST Marriott affiliated facility ANYWHERE, EVER. Stay elsewhere.

We stayed June 22 to the 25, and from the day we arrived to the day we left, we enjoyed our experience at this property! Otis checked us in and he was very kind and helpful. The next morning, we experienced the breakfast. Although this breakfast is smaller than most Towneplace's I've seen, the quality of the food makes up for it. The turkey sausage was the best tasting sausage that I've ever had, and the waffles were fantastic. Unfortunately I couldn't catch the attendant's name, but she was very nice and smiled a lot. After we came back from the conference nearby, housekeeping made all our beds. Including our air mattresses that we had. I felt that gesture really spoke volumes about the Towneplace brand's initiative. That night we accidentally set the fire alarm cooking food and the desk called to check on us. It did take a while for the alarm to silence. Upon checkout, Frank was at the desk to check us out. He was also very kind, he asked about the conference and how the experience was. Once again, another gesture that really speaks out for Towneplace. Unfortunately I did give this review four stars. The reasons being; I noticed on the 3rd floor of the A building, the mechanical room was completely missing the door knob. This could be a hazard. In one of our rooms, the A/C would not stop squealing loudly, and we had to move that room, a couple of employees didn't speak when I passed by, and I had to ask for Frank's name because he wasn't wearing a name tag. All in all, though, the experience was fantastic. Everyone in our group loves this property.

During our family vacations - Marriott is my first choice and rarely have been disappointed. Yes there are minor ones - but this one takes the cake. We spent two nights in a two bedroom suite with teen boys. To begin with the bedrooms, kitchen were maintained clean. Breakfast was good and sumptous. Front Desk staff was courteous and pleasant but it's not a great stay if I have to deal with them at all. Kitchen is not well stocked - we had to run up to front desk to get even basic stuff. The bedrooms have AC vents - but the living room has no vents - it gets quite warm/humid after a while. Housekeeping somehow totally missed making the bed, cleaning bathroom etc., even the two dishes in the sink were not washed. No new towels, no soap nothing - they just entered and left back. We were stunned by the state of the room on return. Wifi is very poor quality. The rooms are of poor quality - bathroom doors won't close properly, shelves are very old and dingy - cheap stuff in a so-called upscale hotel.

I chose the property based on the relative price to other Marriott properties. The grounds were well kept and every hotel staff member I encountered was extremely nice and eager to help. The property was quiet and overall a decent place to stay. The back of the parking lot is starting to look a bit like long term storage with a cargo trailer and a Harley under a cover sitting about. I'm not sure if it was a guest or a mobile detail shop, but someone's car was getting washed by a guy with a bucket and sponge. The interior is teetering on the edge of being in need of an update. There wasn't any single issue but more of a general impression with the fit and finish. Examples - the front desk equipment is mismatched and dated. The door hinges to the cabinets under the sink in my kitchen that enclose the trash can need to be re-attached.The dishwasher is installed at an angle causing one edge to stick out past the counter. The breakfast area was clean but small . Very small. The selection was limited with a smaller choices of hot foods, cereal, yogurt, muffins, boiled eggs and cheese slices. Overall, I'd stay here again but it just doesn't give the impression of the normal Marriott experience.

First of all this is the only hotel I normally stay at when i come to Atlanta for Business or Personal, I have stayed here at least 6 times, even though it is so far from where I had to be in Atlanta, i trusted this location and loved the past service and cleanness. Last weekend will be the last time I stay at this hotel. My stay was horrible. Let me start with the room was dirty, we stayed in a 2 bedroom suite, there was left over food on the floor in the kitchen area, cup marks left on every table in the suite. black ring around the toilet, the tub was dirty, there was dirt marks on the white comforters. The bathroom floor was filthy. I called down to the front desk, they sent up housekeeping and the 2 house keepers tried to argue with me about the cleanliness of the room, they both had attitudes about having to clean the room to my standards. The pots and pans were burnt up there were 3 mitch match drinking glasses. Housekeeping staff played music in the hallways from their phones while they were cleaning, all of them were on their phones every time we saw them in the hallways. They ran out of clean linens, we asked to have them brought, never came, we ended up having to go down the next morning to get clean linens. The staff is very unprofessional, this location has never been like this is the past, i will NEVER stay here again. The breakfast was horrible, they had sliced cheese and bread-cereal selection was horrible and minimum. our hallway smelled like Marijuana, which i understand the staff is not responsible for, of course that was other guest, but still, this location has gone down hill and we will not ever be returning. I have been a marriott member for many years and I chose to only stay at Marriotts because it is my trusted brand, however, Marriott needs to do something about this Townplace suites location because there is a possibility this location can give the Marriott Brand Name a HORRIBLE reputation!

This hotel is a little out of the way from Central Atlanta but not a bad drive for weekend travelers willing to save a little money. The hotel is split into two buildings so you may need to walk over the parking lot to the office. Is it clean? It was averagely clean. We witnessed the cleaning staff hanging out in someones car for over an hour two of the days we were there when they should have been working to improve on this average rating. Staff friendly? Again they were average. No one went out of their way to make a big deal about Marriott Platinum members. Should they? Not necessarily but at least thank us for choosing your hotel. Free Breakfast. Do not expect scrambled eggs or waffles here. It was limited to boiled eggs and cereal for your main menu.

My family and I were visiting the area and we stayed here, well the moment I walked onto the hallway the entrance carpet was dirty and the air smelled stale, however, I remained optimistic. The room was a decent size however , it could use a serious update. I never once sat on the sofa! The bathroom cabinets were chipping and falling off the hinge. I was pretty disgusted at this point and ready to walk out and book another place to stay. The kitchen was not maintained well. Food particles were everywhere, tables were not wiped down quickly enough and it was difficult to find anyone to help you. The food was nothing spectacular either. I can't believe this place is under the Marriott umbrella which is a shame because it does have good potential.

I don't think this will be in the Marriott chain very long, as this hotel was disgusting. It felt much more like low income housing than a hotel. I will say that the people who work here seem very nice, but that is where it ends. I needed a pack and play, and the front desk clerk handed it to me while I was unloading my car, with a plain sheet, not a crib sheet, in the parking lot. Didn't bring it to my room or anything. The room itself was not very clean, the curtains were disgustingly dirty. When I unfolded the pack and play, I had to wipe it down to clean it because it was gross with what appeared to be old food stuck to it. We left to go eat dinner, and upon returning, the lobby area of our building smelled so much like marijuana, I thought I was getting a contact buzz. The bathroom was clean, and I thought the kitchen was until I opened the dishwasher and there was a roach crawling around. That's right, a ROACH! Would never stay here again. It seemed more like low income housing than a hotel. I told the desk clerk when I left about the roach, and she gave me points (because I was staying on points), but didn't refund all of them. Keep driving by and don't stop!

I'm usually very tough on hotels this review is no exception. The room was fairly clean could use some updating and repairs. Switch plates were cracked and desk chair was ripped. Breakfast was horrible very limited choices nothing hot but waffles you make yourself. Plan on eating in your room or out. Management had no control of the hotel. Kids hanging in cars blasting rap music with not family friendly lyrics and I listen to all music but I don't force anyone to listen to what I'm playing. Went to the car at 11pm to find the door propped open. I had to call the desk and unprop the door not secure at all people walk in and out. Never again second strike for this chain Marriott is slipping on service for sure
